Hello, I am Pete Kennaugh and this is my story about my new-found career at Sky. I will tell you all about my races, teams and life as I take on being a young domestique-leader. My first race is the Tour which starts in my home country of Great Britain, and Dave Brailsford has mentioned me in our 9 man line-up for my second Tour. It will be amazing, but I won't be able to ride for myself as I will be supporting the defending champion Chris Froome. I will in troduce my team soon, and tell you all the ins and outs of Team Sky life.

My Team
So this is my team for the 2014 Tour and my other friends at Sky
Chris Froome
Chris is the outright leader for the Tour. I don't know him that well, but I know he's the one of the best GC riders in the Pro peleton, and I have great honor of working for him on his conquest to become double Tour champion.
Richie Porte
Richie is a funny and friendly guy who could be a leader himself but he has sacrificed himself to work for his best mate, Froome. Me and Richie have a good relationship as he does with all of the team and crew, and will be trying to lead the Vuelta at the end of the year (which I hope to be racing).
Edvald Boasson-Hagen
Eddy is a great and prosperous sprinter from Norway, who will be the lead sprinter for the Tour. He has one a sprint before, back in 2011, when he out-leaned Gilbert and Hushovd in Liseux. Me and Eddy are good friends and have raced together a lot, and we have similar punchy styles on the hills.
Geraint Thomas
G is one of my best friends at Sky, mainly because of ourb long and rich track history together at the British Academy in Manchester. Geraint will be a great help to Eddy in the sprints and can easily go for that cobble stage at Arenburg. Hopefully G will go for a couple high placings and we will have a laugh for the next 3 weeks in and around France.
Mikel Nieve
Mikel is new to sky and we dont really know each other that well, and of course there's the language barrier too. He is a phenomenal climber and can be a great asset to Froome's chances as is the next two...
Vasil Kiryenka
Kiri is a great all-round domestique but is getting old. He can power away on the flats and can maybe head into the breaks and get us a couple combativity awards. He will probably work well with us even though he is more of an independent rider but he knows a lot about the opposition and is a very clever rider too.
Kosta Siutsou
Kosta is another strong TT-Mountain domestique who has been at the team for a while (well, as long as I know). He is another guy who can fight in the breakaways, as we saw in the 2013 Vuelta, when he took a fabulous stage win from battling the break and staying ahead of Nibali and Horner
So, that's my team!!

Kiryienka won the Vuelta 2013 stage, not Sivtsov.
Good luck with your story I would prefer you to ride a weaker team, so it would be more of a challenge, but we'll see what happens

Oh, my bad and it's the proper team going to the Tour, but somethings might be shaken up within Sky

The team hasn't been announced yet. What it says on Pro Cycling stats could be wrong. |

Pete isn't the Manx Missile, apart from that it looks good. Don't let peoples dislike of Sky put you off, do it your way. EBH unlikely to ride le Tour if you are looking for realism in the squad. Best of luck

Good luck with this! My advice: don't let people dissuade you from using Sky, and try not to get into any doping arguments!
Looking forward to see what Pete can do! |

I didn't mean that I don't like Sky, but it just isn't that challenging IMHO to play a team, which is definitely the strongest in the peleton

Pete has to prove himself on the road to say that he is the Manx missile. Good Luck

I find their classics team really really fun to play with, multiple options with EBH, Thomas, Stannard, and Eisel, but no one is OP. Their mountain squad is ridiculous though. |

Pete cannot be the Manx Missile because that nickname is already given to another pro cyclist
