The wildcards were handed out today, so I thought it was time for a Tour de France 2007-topic. And I'm sure all you British guys will be very happy - Barloworld got one of the wildcards. Agritubel, the French team, got the 2nd wildcard while Astana took the 3rd. |

i'm very happy Barloworld got a wild card, we might see Geraint ThomasB)
can you tell me again, why do Astana have to apply for a wildcard, instead of getting in automatically? i'm sure i've been told but i don't have a good memory |

Astana and Unibet.com are not recognized by ASO, the race organizer, as Pro Tour-teams. For the same reason, Unibet.com will not be present at Le Tour - and neither would Astana be if they hadn't received a wild card. |

I'm really envious. And after Riis' confession the Tour will probably never come by Denmark |

Another problem for Denmark is that Germany (and Maybe Belgium + Holland, depending on route) is in the way, |

What's the problem in that? They usually pass by there every year anyway. So, they could go from Denmark to Germany to France - it would not be any problem at all
Anyway, we have the World Championships in 2011 |

And then we have the Olympics the year after that |
