Hello. On Friday I am attending the DHL Sprint School at Newport Velodrome. It is a day were young riders ride there arses of for some amount of hours.
I have started this thread so that you can ask me to ask Jamie Staff and Vicky Pendleton questins about cycling. So feel free to put watever you want me to ask.
(if I can) oh it might be difficult to get you all autographs if you wnat one that is.

sounds cool, i too am more of an endurance rider but to be honest i haven't bothered joining a team, so i'll probably nevery get the chance to do what you're doing, but then again i am only 15, so there's still time
are you more of a track rider than road then?
i myself am more of a road rider, in fact i'm doing a nice 70-miler/100km next month, i am mainly a road rider because i have never ridden on the track, but i am going to one of them starter things soon (well i think 70miles/100km is a long way for a 15yr old anyway)

yeas but i bet it was hilly,
the ride i'm doing only has 2 real climbs, a 25% called terrington which is only 1km long, and Setringham which is 12% and 3km long |

Denmark is known as one of the flattest countries i Europe. Apart form Netherland, of course. The highest point is "Yding Skovhøj" at 173m |

Oh, I seriously thought you were joking.
Denmark proper is a lowland area, indeed its terrain is among the flattest in the world. The average elevation is just 30 meter (about 100 feet) above sea level; the highest point, Yding Skovhøj in the east-central Jutland, reaches only 172.7 meter (568 feet).

I love to climb i think the longest ride ive ever done is 150km. I was dead at the end, there was like 50 climbs one was summat like 32%. Thought they were joking at the start. They call it the brick wall. Fortunately i made it up. |

i tried going up a 30% hill last year (when i was only 13 to be fair) but it turned out it was 3miles/5km long and 30% for 5km solid was very, very hard work |
