Progress
For the second round of updates, I’m trying to address 2 concerns. First, unbalanced riders focusing on 2/3 stats should not be happening. Secondly, 23 year olds were getting a tad too strong already.
So, there will be a “support stat package” of +1 to Flat, Acceleration, Stamina and Recovery. It can only be used once on a rider because it’s kinda good.
For the custom riders, this will be the costs. They will depend on age and the highest of those 4 stats as they currently are. Not eligible means you can’t use this special update, it will be the case if your riders is 23 or has one of those stats at 80 already.
Age | highest stat max 70 | highest stat max 75 | highest stat max 79 | highest stat 80 or above | 18 | 100 | 150 | 200 | not eligible | 19 | 120 | 170 | 220 | not eligible | 20 | 140 | 190 | 240 | not eligible | 21 | 160 | 210 | 260 | not eligible | 22 | 180 | 230 | 280 | not eligible | 23 | not eligible | not eligible | not eligible | not eligible |
For normal riders, it’s also the age and the current highest of those 4 stats that decides the cost. I decided to add a special rule here.
Real riders | highest stat max 70 | highest stat max 75 | highest stat max 79 | highest stat 80 or above | 18-21 | 100 | 125 | 200 | not eligible | 22-26 | 150 | 175 | 250 | not eligible | 27-34 | 200 | 225 | 300 | not eligible | 35+ (Basso-Evans-rule) | 125 | 150 | 225 | not eligible |
Of course, you’re also allowed to just upgrade single stats. This will also be influenced by age and current stat value. It is possible to increase a stat above 80, but it will cost you all your points.
Custom riders | current stat max 79 | current stat 80 or above | 18 | current stat value | min 200 + all remaining | 19 | current stat value +10 | min 200 + all remaining | 20 | current stat value +20 | min 200 + all remaining | 21 | current stat value +30 | min 200 + all remaining | 22 | current stat value +50 | min 200 + all remaining | 23 | current stat value +70 | min 200 + all remaining | | | | Real riders | current stat max 79 | current stat 80 or above | 18-21 | current stat value | min 300 + all remaining | 22-26 | current stat value +20 | min 300 + all remaining | 27+ | current stat value +50 | min 300 + all remaining |
You can only upgrade any stat 2 times per rider, by any combination.
Please use the following example to progress riders:
Team Name: Lierse - Pizza Ullo
Rider Name: Lucas Gonzalez (18)
Points spend: 150 (support stat package) + 72 = 222
Stats upgraded:
Fl 70=>71
Acc 74=>75
Sta 64=>65
Rec 69=>70
Spr 72=>73
And here are the points:

You can go lower by just raising single stats, in that case you'll need less points, just the stat value.

Didn't get it at first but now I do, the support stat package should definitely be useful |

Maths But first i should write a few last rider and team comments
We are using the 2013 routes for everything right? (or close enough routes)

I guess it can be a little confusing, so I'll elaborate a bit.
You'll get a certain amount of points from me later on. You can spend those points on stat updates, and the cost is in the tables. You'll have to look at the age and the current value of the stat.
Let's say as a team manager you get 150 points, you can spend them all to buy the "stat package (flat, stamina, recovery, acceleration)" for one of your riders aged 22-26 if they have none of those stats over 70 already.
Or you could update single stats with the lowest table. Let's say you have a 20 year old rider, you can get him to 75 to 76 on a stat by spending 75 points on him, the current value of the stat. For a 24 year old that would be 95 (75+20) points.

So the highest stat for the package is based on the stats in the package or on all stats of the rider? |

Since we're not really moving at the moment, let's start the race applications. Same as before, but I'll explain for the new people.
-World Tour teams are riding all WT races. They can also apply to up to 5 CT races (for now).
- Continental Tour teams can ask for up to 10 CT races. These are guaranteed. They can also apply to up to 5 WT races (for now).
When I say apply, I mean apply. You need to motivate why you want to ride these races and only the best applications will be able to ride the race.
Finaly, Tour (Cofidis, Europcar) and Vuelta (Caja Rural, MTN) wildcards are gone already. No need to apply for those. Resend your PMs if you sent them earlier, I kinda deleted them

Hmm, I'll look into it. Problem atm is that we had problems in the Giro with the 3rd wildcard.

If NetApp can go to the Vuelta then why can't Colombia get a ride at a Grand Tour!
