My laptop is very old and I've always played PCM2010 in 800x600.
Anyone know if there is a way of forcing lower than 1280x768? I've tried changing the config file, but it just reverts back.
Any ideas? Thanks |

It comes equipped with that capability built in. However, my recommendation would still be buy a new one.

Sorry, I mean I used to play pcm2010 in low res, but this doesn't seem to be an option in 2013.
I'm hoping there's a way to force unsupported resolution? |

Really? Mine has options as low as 640x480.

You can set the resolution in the graphical config file. I have posted about it before. |

Huh? 640x480 in PCM13 options?? Not for me.
I've tried changing it in the config file, but it reverts to this every time.
<Option_HW_ResolutionWidth>1024</Option_HW_ResolutionWidth>
<Option_HW_ResolutionHeight>768</Option_HW_ResolutionHeight>
Also tried making it read only, but this just caused crashes.
I guess there is no way? |

Folks PCM13 needs a better hardware because of the graphics. Yes you can play 800x600 but your device is forcing everything for it to run properly. I also noticed in laptops that it tends to heat up after just a few mins. of gaming.(laptop is in mint condition).

Yeah, exactly. It actually runs ok in 1020x768, I'm trying to keep the temperature down mainly. |
