Today I installed some ASUS patch or something(auto-install), but when I opened the Start menu of PCM12, the start icon was gone. I tried to restart the computer, and press the empty spot. But it's just gone
it didn't work, so I pressed the PCM(program) and it told me to put in my code. I don't know if I used the code a 2nd time, but now it is 1 entry left of it
Edit: the Start buttom in menu is still gone

Apparently you have (had) two problems:
1. The start menu does not show the button to start the game.
This is not a problem, as you can start the game directly, either by double clicking the PCM.exe, or by creating a shortcut to that PCM.exe or by pinning the game to the bar in Windows.
If you really want to get that button back, you might have to reinstall the game but I cannot guarantee that it works. But before you do, read how to backup the key, so that you don't have to enter it again.
2. The game registration has been deleted. After entering the code again, this problem should have been fixed also. To prevent the game or your computer from deleting the registration one more time, you can backup the key, which is stored in the registry.
Start regedit (ask google how to do it) and then search the registry for "cycling" (without the quotes). If you found something related to the game, export it to a secure location, then contiue the search until it cannot find anything else.
Well, I have the game in disk version so getting the code is easy This happened just after my computer had downloaded something I don't know what is ("IB updater service" is what I think it is). Should I uninstall it?
Edit: Searched google and found out I should uninnstal it
