What is the difference between 2 and 3 in QUALITY TEXTURES settings. Is it a big difference?

Since the textures are images, you can just try it out to see it for yourself.

I think that higher quality means larger files. If the game is crashing, lower this value and try again. But you have to test it with a long, detailed stage.
