In my third year of my first ever Career, I've taken a Custom team from Continental to a World Tour Team. Unfortunately I don't have a good enough climber to win any World tour races and am now trying to hire a new uncontracted rider in July however I am unable to offer more than $4,500.00 to any rider including my own riders.
I have just signed a new contract with a new sponsor of over $180,000.00 per month and my monthly wages for next year are estimated at $89,000.00
Is there a patch or anything to fix this or is there something else that would be restricting paying more than $4,500.00. My best rider is currently on $12,000 and wanted $21,000.00 but it will only allow me to give him a $4,500.00 offer.
Hmm trying to do it without one but seems like it might be caused by the directors limiting my authorised wage bill to $93,000.00 when my current wages are at $88,500.00
how do the editors work? I've never used one before
Its all about trial and error, but there is plenty of help if you use the search option and there are always people on here who would be willing to help out as well.
I can use DB editor, but that's as far as it gets.

I think the yearly wage increase is limited, no matter how much the sponsor is willing to pay. In this case, it could help increasing the actual contracts. This would be in the table called DYN_contract_cyclist.
Another approach would be to edit the offers.
1. Negotiate with the rider and write down what money the rider is requesting
2. Offer him 4500
3. Save the career (I'm never sure what to do so that the game saves)
4. Edit the offer in DYN_contract_cyclist_offer
5. Continue and wait if the rider accepts the offer
But no matter what you try to edit, make a backup so that you revert back in case you messed up.
