Reminds me of the time I had to install some software on the laptops of two guys who were in the US from our Belgium locations. Frustrating as can be when the keys aren't in the "right" place. |

I'd be all for standard keyboards, but before that we'd need a standard language.
and while pretty much everyone here speaks english, that's not the case in most places.

Actually, English is the most spoken language, be that as a first, second, or foreign language. Mandarin is second.

I never said it wasn't. I said in most places, it's not the case that almost everyone speaks it.
Example: Jerry Seinfeld was in Madrid recently at some ceremony about his new movie. Half the reporters there were portuguese, the other half were spanish. Every time he told a joke the portuguese laughed and the spanish looked eagerly at their translators

I just realised that the figure I had was nowhere near a majority just as you came back online - so of course, only a minority speak English ops:ops:ops:
