Well I really hope that Vanmarcke wins this year. He is definitely capable of it and is looking in good form.

Shonak
There was also this fantastic video yesterday after Pais Vasco. With a bit of True Detective flair. Think I'll watch that vid about 20 times until Sunday.

Lovely video, Shonak.

Speaking about the race, Cancellara for the win! I really hope it won't happen again, but I do feel like Vanmarcke is going to make the same mistake (PR13, RVV14) once again.

Only use the text after =

So in that case it's 92xUr-NptOI and f4HC9u5rg48 within that [youtube]-code

I think it will be Vanmarcke or Cancellara that takes the win this year

I hope it isn't Cancellara but I've got a feeling he will win anyway. Even when he doesn't doesn't got to ride away solo he can beat anyone but Boonen and Kristoff in a sprint after such a demanding and destructing race as Paris Roubaix.

Add Stybar and Sagan to those who would probably beat him in the sprint, but he is much stronger anyway, so i think Cance will wont need the sprint and will just ride away again, maybe with only Vanmarcke close.

I am looking forward to what Stybar can do and if OPQS will master their tactics in comparsion to Flanders chaos. They have like four top10 guys, so they should act more clever.
I'll be back

Stybar: no
Sagan: yes, but I don't think he will finish in the same group as Cancellara (not that Boonen or Kristoff will either but they have more experience on cobbles so I give them a bigger chance than Sagan, Peter may always prove me wrong ofcourse)

Stybar is fast as hell, certainly a better sprinter than Cancellara ever was (not sure this year, when i saw Spartacus). But in the end, it will all come down to energy left and that is biggest advantage of Spartacus at any day in a cobbled race.

I think couple of riders are very strong. Cancellara, Vanmarcke, Terpstra and Stybar especially.

But I cant see a a scenario how Cancellara can win this week. His team has been very weak. His best teammate was placed outside 60th and more than 7min behind, last week in Flanders and last year in PR he had no teammates in last 50kms with him.
And now more than ever people will not help him. Also his days of old are gone where he could just power from 50k away. Riders now know his tricks and bluffs, so I guess we might have a surprise winner.

Same with Sagan he will be marked but not strong enough to go from way out.
Bonnen is very strong but not this year, I don't think he will even be their leader.

You might have forgotten that Devolder displayed strenght and commitment in a way I have rarely seen in my cycling fan life last Sunday?

He is riding with injury, I dont know how good he will be. Same with Popovych.

Malkael
I was just reading that Devolder is out of the Hell of the North now due to said injury, so it now a mute point apparently.

Darn it, looks like I as usual will miss Paris Roubaix by about half an hour, though Cyclinghub has got me covered.

Worth mentioning it will be Gabriel Rasch last race before retirement and becoming DS.

No offence to some of Sky DSs, but Rasch is a much needed addition to their DS department.

Gut feeling - Cancellara, but Vanmarcke and Terpstra have been two strongest ones this spring.
