World of Tanks is a team-based massively multiplayer online action game dedicated to armoured warfare. In WoT you start with a tier(level) 1 tank. There are 10 tiers(levels) of tanks, where higher tiers means better tanks. It is currently 7 nations and 200 tanks from 1930s-50s in the game so far. The tanks are divided into 5 categories;
Light - these tanks are fast, but have rather weak guns. Most often close to no armour. Few HP Medium - These tanks are well balanced in gun and speed, but most of them lacks in armour Heavy - These tanks are slow, with good guns and mostly good armour. Most HP of the tanks Tank Destroyers - These tanks have the best guns, but often lacks in armour and speed SPG/Arty - these tanks are special, because they have very little armour and HealthPoints and it can shoot over rocks. The artillery also uses guns with HighExplosive ammo, so they will damage pretty much everything they shoot at.
WoT is more arcade game than realistic so the controls for the tank is quite easy to learn. I have played this game for more than a year, so I have several tier X. But if anyone wants to start playing this, I can gladly platoon(play together 2-3 tankers) with you, both to learn you playing and have fun. I've waited for someone who would made this thread (maybe I should've started it myself), but thanks anyway.
I play on the American server because a friend of me started there and I play together with him (although I haven't played it for a month).

By the way: you forgot some information. There are several countries to play with. You can play with American, Britain, German, French, Russian (Soviet Union), Chinese and Japanese tanks. I play a lot with America and Soviet Union, and mostly I play with heavy or Arty.
