I've just bought and installed 2013 with the activation key.
It has asked me to create a profile using a player key.
What is this / where can I find this?
(I have installed the game from the DVD box which has the activation key on a sticky label on the inside cover).
Any help would be appreciated as I am struggling!

player key is the same thing and multiplayer key is the same thing.

On PCM 12 when you open the game you get the option to create a new profile, click on this and enter your profile name (i.e Cav for President), then enter your e-mail address and type in your activation key as the player key and it shall be confirmed 
As i said this is for PCM12 so i don't know whether the procedure is the same for PCM13 |

I tried that many many times!
The key has capital letters, numbers and dashes and I added it exactly as it is on the sticky label - am I doing something wrong? should I miss out the dashes or not use capitals or something? |

When i did this for PCM12 i did it all in lower case. |

I have always typed it out exactly as it appears and it has worked for me.

Ok,
I've just tried again and I am being an idiot!!!!!
It's not the player key that was wrong, it was my user name it didn't like. I simply hadn't read it properly and assumed it was the key that was the error.......it wasn't!

I will head off with my tail between my legs and promise to read things properly from now on! |

Apparently PCM doesn't like Cav for President then
