I've got a quite serious suggestion for the website. As the topic title states: a wiki for PCMDaily.
I thought of this when I was considering submitting a small guide to the tips and tricks section. I don't think the tips&tricks section is bad, but i think a wiki could serve the game and the community in a much wider, more detailed and overall better way.
For those of you who have played games with a community-maintained wiki, you may know its usefulness. Basically, once there is a community behind a game with lots of knowledge to start a wiki, all other walkthroughs, guides etc almost become irrelevant because of the usefulness of the wiki.
I think that PCMDaily, being its own independent community, has the knowledge and the means to build such a wiki from scratch. A PCM/PCMDaily wiki could include everything from:
-Story writing guides
-Elaborate guides to the ManGame and other site-run spinoffs
-Full articles on each aspect of the gameplay in PCM
-Full guides on stage and database editing
-Descriptive screenshots for each article
-Full articles on real life pro cycling, races and the calendar.
-Tactics on both in-game racing and real-life racing
-Tips and tricks as they are now
As you can see, the potential size for this is huge, and indeed it could become the go-to place for every question a PCM player ever needs to ask.
Of course, there's a lot to consider. I can imagine hosting such a thing could cost the site a lot of money. But I'd be happy to help out with writing and editing.
