Hi its me again
When i set my sprinter to follow wheel of another sprinter in his train, he often lose this wheel in a bunch . Sometimes when i make my own train he also lose wheel of his leadout so he have to close that gap which cost him energy. Is there some stat or something which determine if he will keep wheel or he will lose it ? |

Normally when taking a team mate`s wheel, then he shouldn`t lose it.
Following another sprinters wheel more often leads to losing a wheel I think.
That said surely the energy left could be important.
A high flat, sprint stat helps as well.
So if you have a 65/73 flat/sprint, he will probably lose the wheel faster than a 75/82. |

In myown train he doesnt really lose it, he is still following leadout but suddenly he stops (as if somethink would block his way) and then there is gap between him and leadout. Then he have to close that gap which cost him lot of energy. |

Did you assign him enough effort? That could be also problem.
Die hard fan of Tom Boonen and Quickstep since 2004.

So what happened right now is that under 10 km to finish my whole train was blocked in pack and loses contact with head of peloton. could it be beacuse my riders have a lot lower FL than other riders ? |

Take a look at the tips and tricks section to see if anything in there can help you out. |

He shouldn't lose the wheel of a teammate in the train, as on the follow command he should do just that, as long as his energy hasn't been spent up early on the stage, are you protecting your main sprinter as well.
Also following the wheel of another sprinter is more difficult as you have to chose the right wheel to follow, because if you start switching wheels your sprinter uses lots of energy to follow another wheel.
Also you mentioned your train getting boxed in, this normally happens when the train is not going fast enough, but also sprint trains can get boxed in just like real life.
In fact another stat I'd like to see in the game, is a sprint intelligence stat where certain flatman and leadouts are much smarter in leading out their sprinter than other riders are, as the importance of the leadout man is not just the sprint but also finding the right line. |

Acceleration helps as well, because with a low ACC, sprinters will lose the wheel as well.
And a sprint intelligence stat? Nah.
Rather a 'technique' stat, that influences positioning, and also things like taking turns and frequency of crashing.

Yes but a general technique stat would be very vague and would cover too many issues. |
