Unfortunately, we have had to take the action to remove Cycleman123 and his Rebel-Aviva ProCycling team from the game.
The reasons for this are as follows:
- Bidding on riders with the main purpose of raising the price, so that managers would stay away from his own targets. Most notably, with Ed Clancy.
- At one point this evening, when combining deals with teams and his leading bids, Rebel-Aviva's salary usage from 16 riders stood at €1,985,000. This is greater than even the team's total budget, as well as being nearly 800k over the salary cap.
Teams who made trade deals with Rebel-Aviva will not be disadvantaged by this. I will be in contact with those managers. I will also be doing some correction work on free agents bids the team has been involved in.
Affected free agent threads have been posted on, and new lead bidders PMed.
The following free agents had their threads removed, and can be restarted by anyone:
Mark McNally, Mark Renshaw, Daniel Thorsen, Sid Taberlay
Those involved in the trades have two options:
- Still receive the fee, and have the rider become a free agent (If they subsequently bid on and win the rider, they lose the fee)
- Try to sell the rider still, and if they don't get the same amount of transfer fee as before, the ManGame Bank will make up the difference.
So far, Venchi have decided to take the fee and let Daniel Oss become a free agent.
