Maybe this is an old problem but had a bit of a problem last night whilst racing 3d.
Alexander Pliuschin was my top rider for a chance of a podium place in the Dwars doors vlaanderen, when suddenly he just stopped riding.
At first I thought it was a puncture but after a while I checked the info board and there was nothing up about that.
As you can see from the screenshot his tab is highlighted and he is in Group A1, but there is no A1 in the race. Whenever i clicked on his tab it would take me to a certain group but I couldn't ever find him, his pulse and so on were at rest at 110bpm
Kind of annoying really, ruined the race.

Did no message come up to say he had abandoned?
He may have crashed out or you may have accidentally abandoned him.

No I checked all the messages, nothing, tbh Im not sure how I abandon a rider so its possible it was done accidentally when I was looking around, but I dont think so. |

You abandon him by putting him on 0% effort - he just stops and then it says that he abandoned.

Aaah, well I definitely didn't do that. So I guess it must be some sort of bug perhaps? |

The only two possibilities are you making him abandon or him crashing out, theres no such thing as a bug that randomly makes a rider dissapear.

With Cyanide and bugs, everything is possible

No. But sometimes it doesn't inform you about the crash. In the 1994 db i was racing Het Volk. Suddenly Andrei Tchmilë stopped riding. Just stopped. After the race i checked the injury table, and he was injured... |

Ahaa, just checked his fitness and thats exactly what has happened, he is injured. Same thing though, there was no anouncement he just stopped riding. |

With crashes, when a rider falls over, it means he will get up again and keep on riding (Maybe with the injury symbol, maybe not)
But if a rider crashes out of the race, they dont actually crash as such, and it looks like theyve just decided to stop.

The same thing happened to one of my CSC riders at Flanders, but it did come up at the end that he had abandoned, even though he was still on the course abeit going nowhere |
