Although it's a shame Jamis died, I think this could be just as good. Best of luck!

Big thanks to you guys.... makes me really happy that you like it, i hope you all will stick around..
Admir, you are right, .. changed it.
Selwink, i´m sure Bouhanni will win lots of sprints.
Welcome to Australia.
The stage started relaxed, maybe with some still thinking about Christmas but this would change when 4 riders started the first Pro Tour breakaway in 2014.. our Finnish champion J.Veikkanen,
M.Hofland(BEL), B.Thurau(EUC) and
E.Alafaci(TFR) fight for the points at 1st Int.sprint..
They go throught the 2nd Int. sprint with 4´04"gap to the peloton..
It was looking good for the break but this last climb made them loosing the almost 2´00"gap they had, so we might see a mass sprint finish today..
.. but before that, E.Viennet attacks for kom points... he will wear the jersey tomorrow..
After that, with 5kms to go, it´s time for another attack from us..
L.Pichon and danish champion M.Morkov(TCS) get away from the pack where we are still fighting to form our sprint train..
Both riders start to sprint... Pichon made the work until this point and decides to wait for Morkov to start the sprint..
Morkov kicks fast with Pichon loosing some terrain.. Cannondale sprinters are closing in..
.. but M.Morkov keeps his speed and wins 1st stage.. we fought our way in peloton and N.Bouhanni brings home a 5th place.. Pichon still manages to finish 8th and M.Fischer is 10th.. great start.
