Welcome to the 2014 homepage for Repsol-Cativen, a Pro-Continental team based in Venezuela. Repsol-Cativen will be competing in the Pro-Continental division for the second year in a row. Despite being narrowly relegated last year, due to the amount of disbanding teams we were allowed back into the Pro-Continental division.
Here is the team jersey:
The team has retained all three sponsors from last year.
After the disappointment of ending up in a relegation position last year the team is looking to have a very successful transfer season, and look to retain our position in the PCT in 2014. We will be looking to create a solid base to then move onto pushing for promotion in the coming years.
The notable results from last year, both came from Andrei Kashechkin, he managed to win both the USA Pro Cycling Challenge and the coveted Continental Grand Tour of the Tour of America. We hope that in 2014 we can try to replicate these results and more.
Repsol would like to announce their goals for 2014 as the following:
Top 5 America Tour Team Standings - 2
Win Kenya Mountain Classic - 5
Top 5 Tour of America - 3
Top 5 Sibiu Tour - 3
Top 10 Vuelta al Tachira - 2
We are looking forward to trying achieve as many of these goals as we possibly can, and we know that we can only do this with the right transfers.
