Hello my name is Adamb and I am going to do a Team Sky career with a 2014 database which I created myself. What i will do is instead of giving you a detailed report of a stage that takes to long is just a little review at the end of the stage, so that the story can be enjoyable for me to do. There will be a little problem that i am back at school and i have football training almost every night so it will be hard to post any stages, But i will try my best. If i don't do any during the week i will do extra at the weekend, But that shouldn't happen so let's get to it...

Christopher Froome is without doubt one of Sky's best riders or the best Sky rider there has been. With the 2014 season fastly approaching one thing that is certain is that he will be looking for that second Tour de France title Plus Sky and Britain's Third. Along the way Froome will also be targeting many races like the early season races of the Tour of Oman, Tirreno - Adricato and the Criterium du Dauphinie. Froome will be looking to keep his form going after the Tour with maybe a shock appearance in the Vuelta and then the World's.
Richie Porte one of Sky's revelations of 2013 by helping team-mate Chris Froome to victory in the Tour de France also winning Paris-Nice, a second place in Vuelta Pais Vasco and a second to team-mate Chris Froome in the Criterium du Dauphinie. What would be in-store for him this year, maybe he could get a chance to go for a Grand tour on his own in the Vuelta or the Giro but one thing that is certain is that him and Froome would be riding separate for the first three months because they are our best GC contenders and we want to try and win as many things as we can, so we are doubling our chances of winning.
Bradley Wiggins the first British winner of the Tour de France and Olympic Gold medal winner, don't let anyone forget that. After a disappointing 2013 some people had thought his best day were behind him but that is not the case Bradley is gonna come back with a BOOM! in 2014. His main objectives for 2014 will be partnering up with Chris Froome in the early months of the season to help him to success and who knows maybe getting a bit of success of his own. We don't know whether Wiggins will feature in the Tour this year but one thing is definite he will feature in at least one of the Grand tours probably as a Supporter.

The 2014 season is looking quite interesting for Team Sky with lots of chances of taking glory, especially in the Tour de France looking for our third victory in successive years. That is without doubt our main objective for the season the next main objective are the Giro D'iTalia with our main man possibly being Richie Porte or Sergio Henao. or The Vuelta a Espana with maybe Chris Froome going to lead our squad with a first win in the Vuelta. Also another main objective of the teams are the Hilly classics in April with hoping to gain our first classics win. The final objective is to win as many National championships as possible, so that we can have many proud riders with there national jerseys on there back.

Press - Hello, how have things been going in your winter training camp in Mallorca.
DB - Extremely well, everyone's looking forward to this season and want to make it a good one. Next Question.
Press - Has everyone done as well as you expected to. And who has performed the best so far.
DB - Everyone has performed exceptionally well, but i couldn't choose just one person... maybe the 3 Spanish lads D.Lopez, M.Nieve, X.Zandio because they probably feel at home. And... The 3 Australian's R.Porte, N.Earle, C.Sutton who always go good at the beginning of the season because of there National's and there home race at the end of the month The Tour Down Under.
Press - What will be the team plan ahead of the Australian nationals on Friday. Will you go with the obvious choice to get Richie the win or try and get one of your lesser riders to win.
DB - There's no such thing as ''lesser riders'', at Team Sky we believe that everybody is equal and when the riders turn up at the race who ever has the best form will lead our squad.
Press - So what is your game plan for the Nationals.
DB - I don't want to discuss our tactics.
Press - You said that everybody is equal and that who ever has the best form will lead the squad. Does this count to every race.
DB - Most definitely.
Press - So if Wiggins is in better form than Froome will Wiggins lead the Tour.
DB - Who says Wiggins is in the Tour team. He as got to earn the right to be there. We have only added Froome, Porte, Hagen and Kennaugh. so there are still five places up for grabs.
Press - Will Wiggins get a go in one of the other Grand tours.
DB - He will feature in at least one. As our leader I'm not sure, form will tell.
Press - There was talk that Richie Porte would be the leader of the Giro, Is this true.
DB - Again this is a possibility, But only form will tell.

Game plan:
Our Plan today is to Get Chris into the breakway. Then Nathan will be protecting Richie in the peloton until about the last 50km, If Chris is back in the back, If not they will sit in the pack and Nathan will go up the road at about 30km, so that when Richie attacks at about 10-20km or when his rivals attack he can have someone to help him out.

13/01 Australian National Championships
Disappointment in Buninyong
The first race of the year started in Australia, with a great chance of victory with pre-race favourite Richie Porte and maybe trying to set him self up for a great 2014. The race started with a 8 man breakaway containing Sky's very own Chris Sutton. The lead got up to 6 minutes at one point but then was being dragged back by Orica GreenEDGE. With 30km to go Orica GreenEDGE were setting an immense pace at the front of the peloton dropping almost half of the field. At the 25km mark the break were just over 1 minute ahead so the break urged on put dropped Sky rider Chris Sutton. As soon as Sutton dropped into the peloton Richie Porte was all on his own so decided to attack with 15km to go, But Cadel Evans, Matt Goss and Jai Crawford all followed. With 10km to go the group at the front went up to 11 riders with the pursuers joining them(R.Porte.co). At 7km to go Matt Goss kicked of the front, and left riders behind not being able to follow him. A 2 man group containing Cadel Evans and Steele Von Hoff were 25 seconds behind him with 4km to go, but could not catch up to him with Matt Goss Taking the National Chmapionships. 20 seconds behind Cadel Evans took it in-front of Steele Von Hoff. In 4th place was Mark Renshaw who came in 1:07s behind and then in 5th place was Jai Crawford who came in 1:28. The rest of the group came in 2:43 down with Adam Phelan taking the sprint. Disappointment for Richie porte who lead the group home after the attacks with 1km to go and was eventually dropped and got a disappointing 11th place 2:58 seconds down. Back in the peloton Chris Sutton attacked with 5km to go and gained a 12th place behind team-mate Richie Porte. Caleb Ewan won the peloton sprint ahead of team-mates Simon Clarke and Simon Gerrans. Nathan Earle of Team Sky was dropped earlier in the race by the peloton but managed to get back on but crashed with 3km to go with Rohan Dennis. He managed to finish the race but came 40th

Game Plan:
The Staff are struggling with deciding to go with Nathan Earle or Geraint Thomas because Geraint Thomas fitness isn't that good. What we are going to do is survive the first four stages. Then when it comes to Willunga Hill on stage 5 we will see if his fitness has improved if not Earle will lead our team. There are five flat stages so we have quite a good chance of taking a win or two with Chris Sutton who is on great form. Along the way we hope to get a few riders in the breakaway which could get there fitness up a lot.

Santos Tour Down Under: Stage 1
Even more Disappointment in Australia.
The first day of the UCI World tour started today and it began in the Tour Down Under in Australia. The Tour consisted of five flat stages and one hill stage, today's stage is a flat stage so lets get to it. The stage began with just a one man breakaway(Taylor Phinney). He got up to a 4 minute lead before Team Sky began to bring him in. At the begin of the final climb Taylor Phinney was brung in by the peloton, And the pace was really high. And all the Sky riders had been dropped along with many others. The riders couldn't get back on to the front group and they lost 1:43 seconds. The winner of the race was Benoit Vaugrenard who took on the line in-front of Moreno Moser and Ivan Guttierez.

Santos Tour down Under: Stage 2:
So close for Earle.
Team Sky were looking to make an amens from yesterday after an shocking display leaving almost all of there riders out of contention. Geraint Thomas tried and failed to get in the breakaway. It was a 8 man breakaway but it didn't last long as they were brought in with 70km to go. As soon as they were brung in Geraint Thomas attacked and formed his own breakaway. He gained 2 minutes and 30 seconds. At the 20km mark Nathan Earle attacked an joined his team-mate but only had a 1 minute lead, But there was a chaser and he was called Jens Voigt. Geraint Thomas was dropped by team-mate Nathan Earle and dropped into the peloton. At the 1km banner Nathan Earle and Jens Voigt were caught by The peloton. Daryl Impey took it on the line in-front of Moreno Moser. The last podium place was took by Samuel Dumoulin. Chris Sutton was Sky's highest placed rider, The rest of the squad came in the main pack gaining the same time.

Geraint saves Sky.
The third stage began with a 3 man breakaway which contained Nathan Earle. Nathan won both of the Intermediate Sprints, and gained 6 seconds in time bonuses. They got up to six minutes before they were brung in at the bottom of the Corkscrew hill. Sky remained at the front with Nathan Earle bringing Geraint Thomas up through the Corkscrew hill. At the top of the hill there was a team attack from Sky and it came from Earle and Thomas. With 2km to go Earle and Thomas had 10 seconds ahead of the chasing peloton. Thomas was just too strong and took it by a few bike lengths, ahead of Daryl Impey and Moreno Moser. Nathan Earle came 10th and Chris Sutton 12th.
