So, the season starts early last year, and we have already three race: Australia hosts the real start with a classic criterium, the Down Under Classic. In Melbourne, there are sprinters as Modolo, Greipel, Goss and Guardini. I think the winner will come from one of them.

Melbourne:First race of the season, and some of the best world sprinter are here for Down Under Classic. Last year winner André Greipel was the clear favourite, but, as we will see, things didn't go according to plan. After a very fast start, with a big breakaway of 10 riders, the group, pulled by Accent Jobs, Orica and Blanco lets go 4 riders when there are only 40 km missing: Ponzi (AST), Colbrelli (BAR), Gatto (VIN) and Wagner (BLA). They have a maximum advantage of 2'00", but when the group start to chase, they collapse.
-17, the group is launched towards the first sprint of the season, and Lotto and Orica are at the top of the peloton, but Orica is stronger: they take a good advantage and Wellens and Bak must launch the sprint to Greipel very early. Cooke and Goss go easily, and Matthew take the best success ever i Australia, with Greipel only managed for 2nd. Then all the others.

The first breakaway is made by Konovalovas (MTN), Iglinskiy (ALM) and Fernandez (GRS)
i.imgur.com/dyf7CT7.jpg
But, after a big attack by Vorobyev (KAT), Dodi (LAM) and Selvaggi (VCD), the group catch them. Then, when there are 177 km missing, a new breakaway is formed: Janse van Rensburg (ARG), Koren (CAN), Wackermann (LAM), Sergent (RLT) and Domont (ALM)

I believe it's the 2008 Olympics course. At least the route looks the same, and they were also held in the trashy tourist town that is Badaling.

That's what I realised as well when I googled Badaling Wink

When the riders leading the race for the first time reach the finish line, they haven't an huge lead, only 5'22"
i.imgur.com/S9aIg16.jpg
When they are at the second passage on the descent, they reach the maximum advantage, 7'34", with Koren doing a lot of work now.
i.imgur.com/i5DL1Xl.jpg
When 104 km are left, Manuele Boaro (TST) attacks.
i.imgur.com/S3Tqb9N.jpg
This is a stupid action, really, but he arrives until only 23" from the head, then, collapses. Katusha takes the lead and reaches him. In the last descent, is Cannondale who accelerates and takes the escapers.
i.imgur.com/Iht3J2r.jpg
Then, Nibali (AST) attacks (I lost the screenshot). He has 23" at the top of the last climb, but, if someone wants to reach him on descent, he's only a deluded.
i.imgur.com/hLFpyvL.jpg
So, big win for him, and good ride by Hesjedal (GRS) taking a splendid second place. He reaches Nibali on the finish line.

Now we are in Cuba, for a real tough race. Continental riders aren't very strong, this is a very open race. For me, the clear favourite is Markus Fothen. He had the best team possible, he want this victory, not all continental race will be without any opponents.
