[CT] Lierse SK - Pizza Ullo Cycling Team
Lierse - Pizza Ullo (LPU) is a new Belgium based cycling team. The idea came last year, when football club K. Lierse S.K. noticed the low sale of tickets on the days cycling classics were hold. They realised there are two sports that matter in Belgium, Football and Cycling. Rather then competing, the board proposed and idea to unite the two. After a lot of thinking, the first steps were taken and preparations started. A new cycling team was born!
It was decided the main sponsor would be K. Lierse S.K., Lierse in short. Of course a second, more international sponsor would be needed. The ideal candidate was found only 2 months later. Pizza Ullo is a growing chain of traditional Italian restaurants. Opposing chains such a Pizza Hut and Domino's, they offer more healthy, more traditional Italian pizza.
Soon after, The first restaurant of Pizza Ullo in Belgium was opened, inside the stadium of Lierse. The marketing machine started, and soon it is time for the real work..
Our Sponsors:
K. Lierse S.K.
A football team from Belgium's Premier League.
Pizza Ullo
An expanding Italian restaurant chain.

Always more room for a Belgian team! Hopefully we can develop a nice partnership, developing each other's riders.

With the transfer period coming up, Lierse SK - Pizza Ullo Cycling Team is looking for young talents to develop with our team. Belgians are our priority, but we also want a few italians, and then it's the rest of the world. We hope to get quite a few free agents, but we will also talk to other teams to take over some riders.

Yeah particularly because Europe Tour has basically an entire season of events in it and you need to score well in almost all of them to do well there. Still I suppose a top 10 in the America Tour could be possible without racing every single event there.

Yeah fair enough. Setting goals in the first season is really hard, so don't worry.

I am not sure that all the new managers are aware of these standings goals being counted together for PCT+CT teams?
Anyway, good luck with you goals Ollfardh, you team orientation seems interesting, jersey is very stylish too.

Thanks both, first season will be learning mostly. I wasn't aware of PCT and PC being put together, no. Guess I'll remember that for next year

Some very tough goals, since you'll need to be strong in pretty much all terrains to achieve them. Good luck!

I did say that it would include all races. It wouldn't make much sense to split them by division when there are already division-only ranking goals.

Yep, i know that it was made clear enough before. I just thought that Ollfardh is not aware of that/missed that and it was really the case.

Not blaming you SN, as a newcomer to the ManGame it's just very hard to keep track of everything with the huge amount of forum boards and threads.
But now we have some challenging goals this year

No Aer Lingus! Ollfardh you surprise me! (Although I have seen Aer Lingus as a minor sponsor on another jersey.)
We are going to clash big time on multiple goals here, fortunately Bonsucro will be fully dedicated to the American races . Looking forward to it. |
