Welcome here in our new building in the outskirts of Lviv, Ukraine. It might not seem that much from the outside, but I guarantee you it's a high-end building with a massive garage/workshop, a state of the art training room, large offices and this immense pressroom we're sitting in right now.
The move to Lviv is easy to explain. Hotel Leopolis from Lviv has rooms available for our riders who can't return home in between races. They can sleep there, and train here, which should be highly efficient as Lviv is the cycling capitol of Ukraine.

André Greipel
Role: Sprinter
André in our best sprinter this season. He'll lead the team in most flat classics this season, and he'll try to achieve the sprinting goals set by the directors. We feel confident André is a great rider for our team, and we hope he can live upto our expectations
Vladimir Efimkin
Role: Climber
Vladimir is a rider who agreed to come to our team at a fairly low price. He's our most experienced climber, and therefore we've assured him he'll be the captain in races like the Tour of Andorra.
Ignas Konovalovas
Role: Puncheur/Short Tours
Ignas is one the better riders in the division for short tours. His abilities to conquer hills and the strength to ride alone very fast makes him a real outsider on those races. He'll be our only shot at winning the Tour of Ukraine, and we're sure he can do pretty well there.
Tomas Vaitkus
Role: Lead-Out
Tomas can set an incredibly high pace in the final kilometres of a race, and for that reason he should be an excellent lead-out for Greipel. He'll also be allowed to try and win himself in a few races.
Artem Topchanyuk
Role: Climber
Artem comes back from Aker, where he gained valuable Pro Tour experience. He'll help Efimkin in some races, in some other races he'll be the leader. Strong climber, who can stay strong for quite a few years.
Kobe Vanoverschelde
Role: Sprinter
Kobe is another rider coming from Aker. He's just as fast as Greipel, but lacks the power to go over hills. He'll help Greipel in our goal races, and will lead in other races.
Maciej Ulanowski
Role: Sprinter
Very similar to Kobe, just a bit worse on the hills. Will also help Greipel in a few races, and gets his own chance in other races, mainly stage races starting with one or more flat stages.
Mykhaylo Kononenko
Role: Stage Races
Kononenko will be the main helper for Efimkin and Topchanyuk. He should be able to stay with them for a long time and should be a great support rider.
Eduard Vorganov
Role: Puncheur
Eduard has had a good season with us last year as our leader on the hills. This year he'll help Konovalovas.
Oleksandr Polivoda
Role: Sprinter
Had an awesome season in 2013, and now Polivoda will be a lead-out for Greipel and Vanoverschelde. He'll lead our sprints in C2 races!
Martin Puusepp
Puncheur
Bruno Lima
Sprinter

Spoiler Danilo Napolitano
-In his last years as a topsprinter Danilo would be a perfect role model for any young and promising sprinters we want to train. We already openly declared intrest in this man, and Evian, now La Vie Claire, confirmed he could be available to get transferred.
Tomas Vaitkus
-With AirBaltic disbanding Tomas will become a free agent. He should always be a gread lead-out for any main-sprinter and for that reasen he caught our eyes. Besides, Lithuania isn't too far away from Ukraine, so he should fit well in our team.
The Skettos brothers
-Both Timotheos and Kyriakos Skettos from Cyprus are talented sprinters. They should be able to reach a decent level within a few years.
Jaroslav Popovych
-Ukraine's best known stage racer is at the end of his career. His age should start to prevent him from winning really big races now, and for that reason we think he might be interested to help us develop talanted riders from the region.
Roman Maksimov
-We all know him as the Russian Rocket and his strikingly bad performances have actually caused more people to google the words 'Privatbank', and 'Russian sprinter'. For financial reasons he would certainly be an interesting rider to add to our roster, permanently.
Spoiler Mikayil Krasnoperov
-Going to the free agency very soon, this climber sure caught our eyes. Very strong on long climbs, and still fairly young. Mikhayil would surely be a great mountain leader.
Jukka Vastaranta
-Also a rider who is going to the free agents. The Fin is a rare puncheur with a very strong sprint. He'd be an awesome lead-out and hills leader for Privatbank.
Rui Costa
-A great rider for 1 week tours which don't have real mountains. His abilities on both hilly terain and time trials should be a great pointssource to survive in the PCT.
Vadim Ratiy
-Ukraine's other great climber has already been linked to both our team and Metinvest by numerous sources. He is a bit more allround than Krasnoperov and would be a great leader for any PCT team.
Ivan Kovalev
-Great against the clock, basically sucks at everything else. Nevertheless he could be a strong rider for the team time trials, a dicipline we lack good riders in at the moment.
Spoiler Vladimir Karpets
-Karpets is, like some other riders mentioned earlier, in the late days of his career. However, he might still be a great domestique, or even leader in some races.
Aleksandr Serebriakov
-A rider quite similar to Maksimov, and from the same country. Aleksandr misses the real kick to accelerate and would therefore be more a lead-out then a main sprinter.
Gatis Smukulis
-Really strong domesique on flat stages in a stage race. This Latvian has no real expertise and is strong on multiple terains, without being exceptionally good overall.
Yuriy Vasyliv
-Born in Ukraine, riding with a German license, this youngster is a promising stage racer. With the initial goal to train talented riders he would seem to fit great in our team.
Maksym Averin
-One of Polivoda's friends. They've ridden at the same amateur team where they challenged eachother to get better every day, resulting them to be Ukraine's leading sprinters.
Spoiler Yuri Trofimov
One of the premier stage racers/puncheurs active in the peloton right now. Getting Yuri willing to move to the PCT would be a massive surprise, but we've done surprises before.
Vladimir Efimkin
One of the great old Russians. Vladimir is more then decent climber who should be capable of being a (luxury-)domestique for most teams.
Paride Grillo
A pure sprinter who can't climb that well. He manages to get over speedbumps rather well tho and that should make him a contestand for the somewhat harder sprintstages. He'd be a great lead-out any time too.
Andrei Grivko
Andrei is one of the better puncheurs in Ukraine. He should be able to do well on short, hilly tours with a time trial somewhere.
Roberto Ferrari
A mini-Maksimov. Roberto is a very fast sprinter, which a massive acceleration when he leaves the wheel. He's not great on climbing roads. Therefore we compare him to Maksimov, who seems a bit quicker, but also less strong on rising roads.
Spoiler Tanel Kangert
Tanel is a really strong rider who can climb very well and has a good timetrial. With the Tour of Ukraine featuring hills and a long time trial Tanel might just be the man to do the job there.
Marko Kump
Multi-talented rider from Slovenia who has a great sprint and can get over hills very well. He should be able to sprint for the win in hilly classics and tough flat stages, like the ones in South Africa or the TDU.
Branislav Samoilev
Like Kangert, this guy is a great all-rounder. He lacks the pure quality of the Estonian but would a very strong domestique in any kind of race.
Krisztian Lovassy
Left without a team last season, this Hungarian sprinter hasn't reached his full potential yet. If transfered to our team he would be an important piece of the sprintingtrain.
Artem Tesler
Same story as Lovassy basically. Had no team last season but would be a good addition to the sprinting core we're expecting to have next season.[/quote]

Press Conference, Interactive
Now you've seen the building and it's time for you to ask questions related to our team, sponsors, riders, or whatever you might want to know.
Every manager will be able to ask me one question, which'll be answered in the next release. The newspaper has to be printed at 25-2 16:00 CET so that's your deadline.
All reserves will be updated asap.

@fjhoekie: Last year you failed to get a rider in the top 30 of the CTour and despite this finished 9th overall do you believe your one star rider away from having a great all round team? |

Good idea
@fjhoekie:
You seemed to make a lot of use of loan signings both in and out during 2013 - would you care to comment on the success or otherwise of the various loanees across the season, and expand on whether we will we be seeing the same approach in 2014?

How did you get Maksimov motivated to win races because I couldn't do it 2012, and on a more serious note, do you think the Russian Rocket would still be the team's lead sprinter if he returns to Privatbank next season?

Still possible for a PCT team if improbable and extremely unlikely to happen though good luck with your other targets Grillo is a rider i'm looking at too. |

Win: Tour of Ukraine
Obviously this is our home race, where we should excel and show the world how great this country is! It'll be a tough goal to accomplish given we don't focus on puncheurs that much.
Win: Race Horizon Park
1 Day classic in the Kiev-Oblast. Last year we set a top 5 goal here and failed due to a derailed train, causing Polivoda and Cardoso to finish in a pretty bad position. We'll be back!
Top 5: Down Under Classic
Should be achievable with the sprintfocus we're trying to get.
Top 5: Interlagos GP
Same story, if we get the sprinters we want, this should be very much achievable.
Top 15: PCT Team Standings
Ambitious goal, but if everything goes the way it should, we could achieve this. Last year Metinvest surpised with a certain South African rider, now it's our turn.

I respect that you are going for the Tour of Ukraine win ever though it doesn't exactly gel with your team's focus. Good luck!

@Count: Thanks, will try to impress there nonetheless with the first stage starting and finishing in our home city
Final Part!
Please note that my shortlist is a whole lot longer than the 26 names presented the last few days.
Tanel Kangert
Tanel is a really strong rider who can climb very well and has a good timetrial. With the Tour of Ukraine featuring hills and a long time trial Tanel might just be the man to do the job there.
Marko Kump
Multi-talented rider from Slovenia who has a great sprint and can get over hills very well. He should be able to sprint for the win in hilly classics and tough flat stages, like the ones in South Africa or the TDU.
