Man-Game World, Meet Louis
Hi There
Most of you know me as Louis Meintjes. Some of you have never heard of me. Some of you, particularly my team manager aidanvn13, know me as Africa's first cycling superstar. They've tipped me as being the first African on a GT podium. But what do I think of myself?
To be honest, I'm not sure. I know I'm a good climber and not too awful at time trials - so that makes me a stage racer? It seems so. Exactly how good I am is something I still need to find out within the next few seasons. Superstar, just a star, super-domestique, domestique or South African nobody - that door still has to be unlocked.
However, for now I'm hitching a ride along with another ambitious African, Project: Africa. (I assume you know the team history, so I won't bore you with that). We were lucky to get a slot in PCT this year, but we're determined on setting out to prove it was no accident. Our long-term vision is to ride a grand-tour, podium a grand-tour and reach the Pro Tour. Very ambitious, yes. And further more, we plan on doing it with only African riders! Crazy, yes?
Well, crazy or not, we're all giving 100% to make it happen. I'll write about the journey every step of the way on this blog. From my experience to team rumours, I'll try keep it interesting. Thanks for joining, I hope you enjoy the ride!
~Louis

Looks just amazing!
You're a real artist, and this might well become the best team HQ of the entire MG.
The Project itself is ambitious and interesting, good luck fighting off the other African teams.

fjhoekie: Thanks a lot! Very ambitious, indeed. A very limited market as well, I'll have to be really sensible come this transfer season. Make some fair deals with other African teams and so on... Better to have African allies than enemies!
Miguel98: He is indeed. But I do have Louis Meintjes, who should turn out to be a great rider as well. I don't think I can afford paying a massive salary for another undeveloped rider.

Love this HQ thread already, can't wait for the next updates.
Would you mind if we ask your doctor to see our riders as well? I have heard he's quite good

This is already a fantastic HQ. It will be interesting to see how your team does this year - there is a lot of talent in Africa ATM but not enough of it is developed to ensure that you can be competitive.

The stretching of the page is weird. I would say it was a nice looking HQ but everyone else already has. Also see that you "stole" some of the formatting from Mre
Will be interesting to see how you grow the team for the PCT level and if you can maintain the fully African concept well enough to be competitive. The starting blocks are certainly there and better than most and i wish you the best of luck fighting with Fdog

@Gustavovskiy: Thanks! Will update it later. I plan to keep it interesting the whole season long, sort of like a story. You're welcome to meet with our doctor... for a fee
@Count: Thanks Count Lots of talent and potential in Africa, but most of it is undeveloped. I'll be hoping to get a few solid signings to score points (and keep me away from relegation) and then some young talents to develop. I also plan on contacting and working with other African teams rather than against.
@Manx I did 'steal' but I also credited him I plan on working with FroomeDog actually Not fighting him African focus will be difficult. I need to find riders to score points, avoid relegation and at the same time develop African talent.
Admir, FD: Thanks guys! Good luck to you too FroomeDog!

Can anyone explain why the spacing on this page is so weird?

Nice HQ.
It is something to do with your use of Quote boxes. I just tested removing all of them, and it puts the page back to the right size.

Thanks SN! Turns out that it was the under-score lines (____) in my first post and the Blog Post that caused all that. Just deleted some under-scores et voilà !

Very nice list, i see no crazy impossible things there (maybe Craven). it is even hard to comment on level of your HQ, because it is so breathtaking with all that graphics and stuff.
