Last NC-race for mixed nations from Africa, again featuring a 170km hilly parcours.

This time it's 4 nations at the start, with Namibia as the biggest group (four riders) and the biggest name (Dan Craven).

Jaguar with the biggest team (four riders) and the second biggest name (Bassirou Konte). Let's get it started.. done..

In a "race", where the crowds left the roadside even before the first rider crossed the line, the breakaway would make it to the finish without any sign of the bunch chasing.

Except of Konte and Craven though, who desperately tried to "entertain" the spectators by attacking with being almost 30 minutes in arrears. At least some action. Bikienga still celebrates his road-title in style.

In other "big" news, Bakari survived the tough parcours as the new champion from Gabon! This may give him a spot on Boeing's squad for yet another year.. maybe..

A tough 39km TT-parcours may be more entertaining for the crowds, even though we have some clear favorites for most of the nations here..

Cotê d'Ivoire/ A close decision between the teammates Cisse and Konte (Jaguar)! And again no glory for the latter, who finishes 6" behind Cisse, who therefore completes the double!

Gabon/ Another title for Jaguar, as Charles Anguilet beats road-champion Bakari by almost a minute to take out the TT-crown.

Burkina Faso/ Oumaru Minoungo (Pendleton's) bounces back from a quiet road race-fail and beats Bikienga by half a minute.

Namibia/ One of the most well known African cyclists - Dan Craven (Venchi) - does yet the same as Minoungou and proves his strength against the clock by crushing the Namibian competition! He wins the TT-title by more than a minute on Petrus (Jaguar).
