The Bulgarian (aka Boeing-Vivacom) NCs are ready to kick off.. only one team/manager involved, so time to show him who's the real leader in this team..
Boeing-Vivacom all over the place: 9 riders starting in four groups, with Grashev and Georgiev as the favorites for the road race.. may the Boeing-festivals begin!
4 riders went clear right from the start:
Hristov (Boeing)
Balinski (Boeing)
Ahmed (Boeing)
Mihaylov (Boeing)
So all four groups managed to get a rider into the break of the day..
That's actually bad news for the "thrill" of the race, as the "bunch" behind would refuse to chase.. the favorites will fail..
..and the biggest fans of Boeing will probably turn off the TV now..
There's some news in the race though: one of the escapees - Mihaylov - crashes on the the slick roads with 30km to go! He would later catch up to his breakaway companions, while the question is, if he suffered from this crash and extra efforts..
He actually does quite well in the sprint, but finishes as clear 2nd behind Stefan Hristov, who takes the first of two titles for Boeing here!
Road title/
Stefan Hristov (Boeing-Vivacom)

The 40km flat timetrial will again see 9 Boeing-riders contending for the win.. with Gyurov and Mihaylov being the clear favorites..
It's a quite dominant performance by Nikolay Mihaylov, who beats Gyurov by 24" for the win. Somehow deserved after his crash in the road race, that may have cost him the double.
