I'm new as a member tot this forum but not new to PCM. Recently I started a project to make a database wich makes it poosible to play al races (1.1/2.1 and up) in single race mode with the real life startlist. Because there are not only teams participating that are in the standard DB's, the DB needs to be extended.
Before I wanted to post my project in de database thread I needed to make sure it could technically work. The biggest issue would be the 155 teams limit. I already have way more than that and it still works so it seams that that limit only applies to carreer mode.
Since it's only a single race DB, the size is not an issue. It won't slow the game down as far as I know.
Features
- All WorldTour, 2.HC, 2.1, 1.HC and 1.1 races
- All team participating in those races
- Real startlist for all races
- Real .xml classification files for all stage races
- All jersey's
- All mini jersey's

A list of all team's in the DB. Green ones have correct jersey, orange ones have something missing and red ones have no jersey at all. Help with this is most welcome!

If you're looking for making a giant db, it would be better to associate yourself to an existent one because creating a new one is really difficult. And i am the man you need Because we want the FCD (who got already 155 teams in its 2013 version...) to be this db, and more !

Not sure if we're on the same page. My DB is single race only for it has also teams like: UniSA (Tour Down Under), Eritrea National Team (La Tropicale), Italy U23 Team (GP Costa degli Etruschi). So these teams make use of riders that are already in other teams through the startlist.
So this DB is all about a real experience when playing in single race mode.
If you are making a DB liek that i'll be more then happy to join but to my knowlegde a project like this is not yet launched.

Ok, i see now, you're right, we don't have the same goal. But starting from the FCD would be easier anyway i think, as it got 50 teams more than Daily's db.
