After a long season, the final race arrives. The race of the falling leaves will bring the 2013 season to an end.

Top 4
| 1 | | Wikipedia | 9037 | | 2 | | Koenigsegg | 8237 | | 3 | | Pearl Adidas | 8176 | | 4 | | Milka - AVG | 7746 |
Wikipedia are effectively on a victory parade here, and hope that Van Garderen will continue his good form. 2nd place in the table is not decided, and we will see Trofimov and Bakelandts in battle there - and also both likely to be up there as overall race favourites. Milka are a clear 4th, which is good, as Rabon won't be able to lead them to much.
5th - 9th
| 5 | | UBS - BMC | 7060 | | 6 | | Simply Red Bull | 7020 | | 7 | | Vesuvio-Accumalux | 6884 | | 8 | | Pokerstars.com | 6769 | | 9 | | Lotto - Cervélo | 6643 |
UBS and Simply Red Bull are separated by only 40 points, but the presence of Nibali is good news for UBS here. Most likely they will take 5th, but not far behind are two teams led by the only former winners in the race: Schleck and Cunego.
10th - 15th
| 10 | | Project 1t4i | 6561 | | 11 | | Aker - MOT | 6528 | | 12 | | Festina - Canal+ | 6365 | | 13 | | Wiggle Professional Cycling Team | 6271 | | 14 | | Santander | 6227 | | 15 | | Pendleton's | 6180 |
The last Top 10 place is likely to come down to 1t4i and Aker. New World Champion Boasson Hagen is well placed to score highly, while 1t4i have a bit more depth than Aker, with the likes of Gesink and Sanchez. There could be an Italian threat coming from behind though - Ulissi and Ponzi targeting a strong home showing. Pendleton's will look to Gilbert for a result.
16th - 18th
| 16 | | Team B&O | 5827 | | 17 | | Team Puma - SAP | 5803 | | 18 | | Heineken presented by California Giant Berry Farms | 5721 |
Only 1 safe position, and 3 teams still in the mix. Overall, Van den Broeck is the strongest rider - particularly as Lombardia can often slightly favour the puncheurs who can handle Mountains as well - but B&O have a triumverate of riders who could score some solid points Klemme, Guldhammer and Grivko. And if the race is really not selective, Heineken can join the party with Pozzato being a strong sprinter as well as puncheur.
19th and 20th
| 19 | | Team Bacardi | 4842 | | 20 | | Pro Team Venchi - Sugoi | 4082 |
Bacardi and Venchi already know their fate, but both have Italians as their leaders here: Di Maggio and Ricco.

Last Year
Damiano Cunego just beat Jan Bakelandts on the line, with Frank Schleck trailing in 3rd.

After the Giro, possibly the race I look forward to the most. Pity it's right at the end of the season, but come on Wiggle! A final win for the season would be acceptable

Why did you have to remind us of what happened last season?

Diego Ulissi normally isn't too keen with this race as it's too mountainous - No real expectations from us here. I'm looking to the relegation battle which should be interesting

Damage limitation - which has always been the case on the hilly classics. I did muse bringing Sella here - but went for a full compliment of stage races instead.
If we can hold off Vesuvio I would be very happy indeed. Cannot see us overhaulling UBS barring a crash or something.

This should be a great end to the season with all great puncheurs present, except for Schumacher.
I can only cross fingers Boasson Hagen has one great race left this season, as it would be great to get that top 10.
Last year's winner looks like the favourite to me, hopefully Boasson Hagen can challenge for a podium.
Really looking forward to the report! |

Seems like we've just about survived and a great race to end it with. Glad we've kept this as the season closer. |

Good luck to all PT managers for their ending of the season, should be a very exciting finish for the season.
Hagen will probably want to show why he's WC here. |

No, he won't. He's not even wearing the jersey yet

Should be a great way to finish off the season, with some in desperate need of points. Hopefully a good race |

I would like one breakaway attempt to end the season on a high.

I could say I look forward to this, but I would lie. I really don't.
I would need it to be quite selective to separate VDB from the B&O lot, but at the same time not selective enough for Guldhammer or Klemme to emerge from Top40-anonymity and -randomness.
On the other hand, I've nearly come to terms with a PCT season. (*wink*)
Either way, good luck everyone! Enjoy the season finale
