Assuming no further Beijing delays, the season will draw to a close tomorrow. And for all PCT teams, that means that all eyes turn to Japan, for the season finale.
Tinkoff and ING will fight to win the division, while Vueling, Bpost and VolksWagen are all in the promotion fight.
Cisco, UPC, CSC-Orbea and Lukoil are all part of the relegation battle, while Armavia and WWE are already set to relegate. For Team WWE, this is their last main race in the game before disbanding - although they will be in the National Championships.
Then there is the home favourites Meiji, and 7 other teams all hunting for a good result.
These are the riders in the field with the best hill stat:
| Ginanni | Francesco | 82 | | Froome | Chris | 81 | | Efimkin | Aleksandr | 80 | | Roche | Nicolas | 80 | | Flügel | Aleksandar | 80 | | Roy | Jérémy | 79 | | Zaini | Tommy | 79 | | Ben Nasser | Hassen | 79 | | Gautier | Cyril | 79 | | Sinkewitz | Patrik | 79 | | Schreurs | Maurice | 78 | | Kolobnev | Aleksandr | 77 | | Hoogerland | Johnny | 77 | | Barrio | Sergio | 77 |
Of the top favourites, Ginanni has won 3 classics so far this season including the recent Giro dell'Emelia, Froome and Flugel are on 2, and Roche has 1. Efimkin has not won a one day race, but did win the Tour of Taiwan stage race.
Last Year
Aleksandar Flugel attacked with a lap to go and held off the rest to win. Jonathan Bellis sprinted away to 2nd place, and ProTour-bound Dmitri Claeys was 3rd.

I am hoping to stay above the line when Beijing and Japan is over.
Ginanni, Froome, Efimkin hopefully get the big points. |

As always hoping for one or two of our puncheurs scoring some Top-10/20 points. Obviously not expecting too much in a packed startlist like that though.

Good luck to all PCT managers for their last race of the season, should be interesting.
I think Ginnani might have this, but Zaini might want to show the home team colours. |

I'd really like a win to make up for the missed Emilia goal, but that's a big ask

Flugel to repeat methinks!
Plenty to fight fir in thus curtain faller - I recall fondly Siutsou winning thus for Red Bull a couple of years ago from a break. So not the mist predictable of races.

Not being sure. But I think I will stay ahead of Bpost and Volkswagen even though Gautier finally delivered a bit.
Also interesting to see the final ranking as WWE scored well here. Then again also UPC did okay. |

I want a re-do. That was pathetic. So, disappointing.
Off to the CT Division I go. At least I'll have a lot of fun dominating the new managers that are coming in. *evil laugh*

No surprises there, except for Kelly, however he might have managed that.
And a nice effort by Roche too to get back to the front group, though in fairnes, he shouldn't have been behind in the first place.

Feel sorry for you. I'll miss our Iberian rivalry next season.

Well, couldn't expect much more, at least Jiao with some points. Will hopefully enough to achieve our Top-5 goal in the Asian Rankings.
Just like in Beijing though, a pretty bad overall result. Lloyd and Visconti seem to have quit the season already. Not the best way for aging riders to get themselves a new contract in PCT well, time will... tell.
Feel sorry for CSC and Mre. A disastrous performance to end the season.

Cut me some slack in free agency this season for a change, I need it.

Sums up our season really, our weakest rider finishing 22nd and my puncheurs nowhere. Roll on 2014!
Thank you SN for a great report and all the work you've put in. |

Wow.
CSC can blame the AI for their going down, Costa and mainly Barrio just didn't deliver.
