Adding Races

Any tips for adding races to a database?

Using the Full Editor, doing the same methods I've used on previous versions of PCM that have worked just fine, it is just refusing to work.

The race shows up in-game, but as soon as I click the 'Next' button in order to select and play the race, the game crashes.

Hmm...
Maybe attaching/uploading the .cdb would help, since it's hard to estimate what you could have done wrong.

is this before you go to select which teams will take part?

if so then you need to fill in gene_ilist_fkIDteam on sta_race

otherwise when it goes to load the default team list it will crash.

That's just the Daily DB, with a number of race deleted from it, and one race (Tour of Northern Europe, World Tour Stage Race, ID 93) added.

I can play any other race no problem, it just crashes when selecting the new race, Tour of Northern Europe.

Hopefully it's just something small that I have overlooked, because it doesnt make much sense otherwise!

Bingo. Initially I was just copying the values over from a PCM12 DB, which will have possibly included team IDs that were not in this DB, so I just set that column to '()'. Filling that in with some valid Team IDs stops the game from crashing.
