TT
Oh I wonder who will win? Could it be Cancellara?
Well duh! His time is 47'21, with only teammate Nuttli less than 2 minutes slower (but only just). It is a stunning time though, as this course is used for all National TT's and the only rider who had previouslyv come close to going under 48 minutes is David Millar. Surely now, Cancellara is a huge favourite for the worlds.

RR
A rather lacklustre race until with 45km to go, Cancellara, Nuttli, Zberg, Wesemann and Vitoria pull away.
Vitoria cant keep it though and is dropped, along with Nuttli.
The course is around Zurich, the same as Zuri Metzgete just a couple less laps, and Zberg knows that he must take advantage and get rid of Cancellara before the sprint. He manages this with 17km to go (Only around 5 of those kilometres are uphill).
He also manages to gap Wesemann right at the top of the final hill.
All 3 riders are going as fast as possible, but Zberg still has a healthy advantage. Cancellara manages to catch Wesemann just in time for the sprint.
Markus Zberg takes victory!
Cancellara beats Wesemann to 2nd, while Morabito is 4th.

A poor championships for Cycling24, who are 23rd and 24th in both races. Dont re-sign them Crommy

A shame, but it would have been surprising if Wesemann had won. |
