the end of his days has coming for my old HDD. I take the oportunity for change and bought a SDD.

I know that a SDD could improve the load time of PCM, instead the graphics wont improve at all. plus this drive shouldn´t fill with unnecesary files.

My question is, how would you recommend install the game in the SDD? Do you think that having the DB in the SDD would improve the waiting time in the 3D stages load?

With DB you mean the save? Because as far as I know, the database will only be accessed to create a new season or other game. After starting a game, the save will be used only.

Loading stages does not involve much database/save reading though. The whole stage related information is in the stage file(s), and the game loads the 3D objects, which are also in the same folder as the game.

Placing the DB on the SSD really wouldn't do much about 3D stages... The entire game on the SSD, however, should reduce loading times.

I've got my entire game on an SSD and I can say I find the loading times not bad at all.

So if you're frustrated about loading times I can definitely recommend getting one.
