Bugs and bad hosts

seems to be lots of problems with bad hosts lately. Often everyone is unable to play, no riders appear or seems to be boxed up togheter on top of a car. Only the host is able to play. Also a bug that makes u quit the stage at random points - though often within the last 10 km. This is not a case of host quitting, host keeps playing and yourself get minus pionts and fatigue.. even if you where 2min ahead with pantani or whatever..
I opened my ports, but had the same problem - I was the only one able to play - so I closed them again... does anyone have a suggestion or should I instead try the impossible : contact cyanide??
