Game crashes at TDU - 2nd stage 2010

As the headline explains I'm having some problem getting past the 2nd stage of TDU in 2010. I'm not participating in the race, but that shouldn't really do any difference right? Anyway if someone would like to fix, I'll put the savegame here just in case

is that the same problem as the 18th January (TDU 2nd stage) in 2009 with the PCMSpain, just in 2010?

I got that problem as well. just replace the file of the, stage with another one. (overwrite it) |

I guess, but I actually didn't have that problem in 2009, so I wouldn't know

I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I go to the CM_stages folder and I find the 2nd stage of TDU, which is called v1_cont_2hc_tdu_2, then I take the first stage of Etoile de Besseges, copy it, paste it top my desktop where I rename it to the name of the TDU stage and then I paste that file back into the folder, but it's not working.
