PCM.Daily Survivor Game - Season 2

Basic Information - Gameplay
Please Read To Get A Full Understanding
20 members will be split into 2 teams of 10 people. They will work together to win challenges that will be set upon them by the host (me). The winning team of the challenge will receive immunity and will be safe from Tribal Council. The losing team however, will go to Tribal Council where they will each cast one vote against a tribe member. After the votes are counted, the member who receives the most votes will be voted out of the game, unable to continue.
At some point in the game, the two teams will merge to form 1 tribe. From this point onward, everyone will be competing as individuals. The winner of each challenge will have immune from any votes during the following tribal council. Everyone else is fair game.
When there are 12 people remaining in the game, a jury will form out of the voted out members from that point on. These jury members play an important factor in the games outcome because it's their votes that decided the winner of the game.
When only 3 members remaining in the game, immunity challenges will stop and the 9 jury members will come together. Each jury member has the opportunity to pose one question to the three remaining members. The finalists must answer each question directed to them. After all questions have been asked, each jury member will cast a vote for who they believe is the true survivor and the winner of the game. The finalist that receives the most votes, wins the game, and be granted the title of PCM.Daily's Sole Survivor (Season 2)!
New this season is Redemption Island. You now get a second chance when you are voted out. Instead of being out of the game you get to go to Redemption Island. There you will face off against two other members that have been voted out to get back into the game.
The two members that finish the Redemption Island challenge the fastest stay on the island until a challenge comes along that allows you to get back into the game. The member that finishes last in a Redemption Island challenge is eliminated from the game.

Communication -
You can talk via this forum thread or directly by PM to other contests in the game to talk strategy and make alliances. All forms of communication once the game starts is allowed. But remember what you do is being watched by your competitors so be wise.
Immunity Challenges -
Challenges can be posted at random or be given a warning before they go live. Challenges will pose different strengths including activity, intelligence, luck, creativity, etc. There is also a possibility a challenge could be done twice. Also challenges can be done both by PMing me or directly posting on this thread. The details of each challenge will be presented when the challenge is announced.
Team Challenges: In team play you will need full co-operation with all of your team in order to complete these challenges. With out the help of the other people in your tribe, it will be nearly impossible to win anything
Individual Challenges: Individually each member will try to complete the challenge with the best of their ability, they will depend solely on their own skills to achieve a victory for themselves.
Result of Challenges -
The outcome of the each challenge will be posted after the deadline or the the challenge is completely finished.
The winners will be given immunity, the losers are in jeopardy to be voted out at tribal council.
NEW Hidden Immunity Challenges -
Like last season there will be a Hidden Immunity Idol hidden somewhere on the PCM.Daily Forum. However, get clues to find it will be harder. Whoever wins the Redemption Duel each week gets to choose 1 member still in the game (and not on Redemption Island) to get a clue to where the Hidden Immunity Idol is.
Once the Hidden Immunity Idol is found it will be removed from it's hidden location.
Tribal Council -
This will take place right after the immunity challenge. During team play, the losing team for the previous challenge is present. While during individual play, everybody goes but they can't vote for the member with immunity. Each member present at tribal council has a vote. Each vote represents the member you want to be voted out (or leave the game). If a member doesn't vote in allotted time given (12 hour period after voting has opened) then they vote for themselves. This is also the case in individual play if you vote for the member that holds immunity.
A Tie At Tribal Council -
In the event of a tie vote, whichever member send in their vote for tribal council the fastest between the two members that are tied is safe. This insures the game continues to progress as fast as possible. So send in your votes asap to give yourself the edge in a tiebreaker.
Results of Tribal Council -
Once all the votes are received or the 12 hour period runs up, I will post the results voting by only presenting the number of votes each member received (not who each person voted for). Also if you didn't vote in the 12 hour period, I will also mention that because your tribe deserves to know of your inactivity. The member that receives the most votes goes to Redemption Island. Once we are down to 12 members and then those that are eliminated become part of the jury. The jury decides who wins the game.
Voted Out -
If your are voted out you are NOT out of the game. This season you go to Redemption Island.
Redemption Island -
Three voted out members duel it out each episode to stay in the game. The Winner gets to choose somebody not at Redemption Island to get a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. Who ever finishes 2nd is also safe. The member that finishes 3rd is out of the game and is given the option to post one final post with their parting words for the remaining members on this thread. But once we start the next challenge the member is no longer allowed to comment/PM any of the remaining members. And the remaining members are no longer allowed to PM you about the game.
3 times during the game members get the opportunity to return to the game from Redemption Island.
Inactive Members -
It is almost certain a member will go missing, however they will not be removed from the game. It is the tribes job to find dead weight and to get rid of it, or perhaps keep them in given circumstances. But keep in mind inactive members hinder your chances to win immunity in team play and they also vote for themselves during tribal council if I don't receive a vote from them.
If multiple members end up on Redemption island I will use a random generator to choose what order they finish in that challenge and who gets eliminated.
Deciding a Winner -
Once the game is left with 3 members, the 9 jury members are allowed to post 1 question on the thread for the 3 remaining members to answer in order for them to get a better judgement for who they think should win the game. Once all the questions have been asked and answer, each jury member will vote for who they think should be the lone Survivor. If a jury member doesn't post a question or doesn't vote I will allow the member that finished 13th to take their jury spot and will continue to go down the ladder until all 9 jury spots are filled with active members.
Reward for being the Winner -
The winner will receives a customized Survivor banner and "unmatched" bragging rights over the rest of the members around the forum. (Sorry I can't give you a million dollars  )
Just Watching -
This is for those who are not chosen or just want to watch and comment on the game. Go ahead. Just don't try to influence the results of the challenges by helping the competitors.
Length of Game -
To be honest I'm not quite sure how long it will take to get a winner. I'm thinking minimum would be a month. So activity is going to be a key part is winning. The game will not wait for you! I will continue to post deadlines and such to keep the game running as fast as possible. The game can move super fast if all the competitors are onboard. A few deadlines to keep in mind:
Application Period: December 3
Game Begins: December 3-22
Holiday Break: December 23-January 1
Game Resumes: January 2
Cheating/Breaking Rules/ETC. -
If it is deemed that you are somehow cheating the game in any way the following will occur:
1. A Warning for each offense that is different.
1a. If 3 different acts of cheating by one member are given a warning jump straight to process 2. (3 Strike Policy)
2. If a same act that was given a warning for continues, You will be automatically be voted out the game at the next tribal council. No questions asked!
Changes in Gameplay -
I have the right to change, add, or delete rules to help better the game given by my judgement.
Will this be cycling related? -
Yes/No. Some challenges will be others won't. It will be mixed, but cycling knowledge will help. And on the other hand it won't hurt you to much if you don't have the best cycling background either. Given that the game isn't all about getting immunity, making alliances with other members is also key.
It's Just a Game -
This game is great to build friendships but also is easy to make enemies. Which brings me to my last point, this is a GAME. I have faith in this community that if you are voted out it is nothing personal against you because 19 members have to lose in order for one 1 person to win. Life moves on once we crown a winner so you should too, there is no reason to hold a grudge over the happenings in this game.

I will pick 20 members to take part. Don't worry if you aren't chosen. You get to sit back and watch the excitement and comment on the action. Also I hope to keep this game running, which means another season next year. So if you apply and miss out, watch and comment on the season you jump straight to the top of my list to be a part of next season.
In the sad case 20 people don't apply by the deadline I will have to work with the numbers I get. Less than 12 members will result in canceling the season.

I think I'd form a good competitor for this game. I'm very active on the forum, so that shouldn't form an issue. I also feel I stand a chance due to a high intelligence and a creative mind. My biggest weakness is my artistic skill. My memory supports all this.

Really enjoyed this last time, good that it's happening again. Definitely want to take part again.
I'd think I'd be a good competitor because I've played this before and would have experience of how to play. I really enjoyed it first time around and and especially the challenges were great. It would be fun to join in the game again.
I'm also a very active member and would stay active throughout, which would mean I could put more time into the challenges and competition than maybe someone else could. It also means that a more fun game is created, with everyone competing. Hopefully I can play again.

Having semi-active members are find. I think it's going to be hard to get 20 members to join so you could just join with a clause that I can take you out if I get more than 20 "active" members would be best.

Well, I'm very active on the forum and even tough I can't be active full time (you know, school), I still try to come to PCM.Daily every day to check for stuff. Also, i'm experienced on Minecraft survival, so my tactics might help a team win.

Cool! I think it'd be good to have me in the game because i'm very active on the forum, reading and posting nearly every day, and i have quite a bit of general and cycling knowledge in my head which could come in very handy in probably most of the challenges.

Sure lets get in on this again. I mean there's $1mil on the line!
Reason - Played it last year and was pretty active until i got busy with other things and sort of dropped out. I have plenty of spare time to commit to various challenges, up to a point of course. Also probably one of the only people here who actually watched Survivor for real, so that helps. Equally i will try and break the game, which WILL be interesting to watch.

Everyone is reading to much into to being super active...
You just need to check the thread once every day for new challenges, tribal councils, and redemption island duels. You will only need to do 1 or 2 of those things every 3 days. And if your tribe votes you out you have Redemption Island this season. That's one individual challenge every three days. Plus I tell you what time things are happening.
Don't let not being super active discourage you from applying.

I think it's just better no to wast me and everyones else it's time by entering
last year I was at school, preparing for my internperiod and with a lot of free time at school
this year I'm working and in the weekend I sleep for almost half the time and have soccer matches.
