Impact of coaches

Can you do without coaches?

Had to restart my career (only go to TDF anyways) - found that my main expense was coaches salaries (3 earning ~13k per month each)
Yes, they've got their own stats there, but is there any noticable difference between a weak coach and a good coach (or having a coach at all)

I can see that it may be faster to develop, but surely most of that is down to the natural progression (0.4 in my case)

Try this thread, it is PCM 12 but doubt it has changed much, conclusion seems to be some but not huge impact of better coaches. Sure if you search you can find more already posted.

i missed the search function (was looking in the wrong part of the page)

so that thread basically says that progression would be slower with no coaches (compared to a coach that specialises in it) - but it doesn't look like too big of a change
i didn't really note any progression in my half year save anyway (with coaches), so could just build up the cash for the first year at least
