I need your riders!
The Hobbit
Hello and welcome to the beginning of a new story. I am not going to tell you about the exact specifics, just some general info. This gives you all the opportunity to make your own fantasy rider, of your choosing. 10 lucky people will get this opportunity, and they will all be featured in the story. It is on a first come first serve basis.

It works like this. You will post in this thread, with the name, DoB (age from 19-30), nationality, and then the dreaded stats. Feel free to give any other info, like a backstory. Now, the stats are rather complicated, more so than most stories like this. You will need to use this table of points.

Note
Flat Mountain Hills Time Trial Prologue Cobblestones Sprint Acceleration Downhill Stamin Resistance Recovery
Stats in that order.

86 3,3 6,8 7,2 4,6 3,3 6,0 7,5 3,3 3,3 3,3 5,7 3,3

These are the values for moving from one stat to the other, and thus getting a better rider. So, if I wanted 53 mt, I'd do 1+1+1+1.1, 4.1 points. This means that some stats are more expensive than others, mountain is more than flat for example. This means you will have to highly tune your rider to make him as best as possible.
You will have a certain number of points to spend. I will say when you can start saying your riders..

There is one thing which must be clear. On this occasion they are for a 1 rider story, so they are the domestiques. Anyone trying to overpower their rider will be asked to do it again. Anyone who is not taking it seriously will be asked to do it again. Anyone breaking the rules will be asked to do it again.

Hope you enjoy.

Btw. Great idea. Ill definitely follow

Ok. When you say domestiques does that mean part leaders? And may i ak what kind of races they will participate in, eg. cobble, flat, mountain, tts.
Thanks

Isnt 1,1,1,1.1 for flat not mountain?

DOB/Age- 24/5/94, 19yrs old.
Stats- 68,74,70,65,51,51,51,70,65,51,52,55. That adds to 202.4.
Information:
The 19yr old kiwi was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia with his dad when he was 12. After short stints playing cricket and rugby he became hooked into the idea of following in the footsteps of Cadel Evans when he nearly won the Tour in 08 so at age 14 he started riding for his college in Tasmania. Three and a half years later he returned to New Zealand and lives in Gore in Southland. The long mountainous roads of the South Island provided a gret training ground for the young Travis. After finishing school he impressed in the National Champs and the Tour of Southland and is happy to be picked up to join other riders from throughout the world. He is looking forward to future success on the world stage.

You could've made an easier formula(I know this is how the stats work, but it sucks), since it takes a bit time counting it all up(and chance of making a mistake is big, since you often lose track about which row is what stat)
Will sign up later, I guess Wink

I know it's complicated, but I don't mind if you make a little mistake really.
Basically, if you want 74 mountain, you'd go...
The number for 50+ the number for 51+ the number for 52, +53+54+55........+73+74, then repeat for all stats, it works well as a basis, but the problem is that it is rather complicated, still I don't care if you don't want to join, as I'll fill it with ai riders.

This is just on the edge of making me redo it for trying to beat the system, but fair enough I guess. A lot of you guys will think the riders seem underpowered, but it's for a continental squad.

It's 202.9 points if I did everything correct. Might do a recount later on as I was in a bit of a hurry when I did the stats. Wink

I am afraid your stats considerably exceed the limits, please redo them.

I too don't really understand the system, but I mgiht try something out tomorrow Pfft
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The Hobbit
I don't see how you can not understand, not be bothered, sure, but it's pretty simple, just add up all of the numbers up to the one you want.
