Database - PCM Norge 2007
Difficluty - Hard
Evoloution - 0.3
Added Basso and Ullrich to Liquigas and Telekom, removed Beltran as Liquigas had 30 riders.
What are these stats like?
Im not going to bore you with a big write up, i really have never felt this strong for a story if you see my posts of late ive been trying to get PCM 12 to work so i could play a historical DB, but it's just not happening. So i really like the look of this i can also play pcm 11 on full graphics which is an added bonus. I promise i will stick around for this story. It's got the real Calender of 07 which is great the real route's etc...
I will not start my story untill Omloop(I really lose all motivation for early race i will race them but not report if thats ok? It just takes too much time. Im also going to do a diff way of writing up instead of pausing all the time and writing into PCM a sentance im going to use a pen and paper and take notes maybe it will cut the time down and then convert and upload my screens at once, it should in theory speed things up?
Big goal is to be competitive in all races we enter(should be possible),would really like to bring Gesink through to realise his talent(oh what could of been) would also like to send Boogie off into the sunshine with some big wins, he will go for the WC in Stuttgart. Of course the GT's are the teams big goal, no prizes for guessing which one we really want to change hey?
Will show the team and rider scedule's next.

What do you think of me adding Ullrich and Basso, isit unrealistic? I just liked them 2 in those days the most and well i was gutted about TDF 06 that could have been great battle, so i thought why not add them. Basso was not even in the DB so i think its fine i bring him in cuz he returned eventually, but Ullrich? And are the stats ok with what ive gave them? |

Thanks guys, and ive never been this excited about a story i really want to go really far becuase i want to win things with Gesink in future and for that to happen im going to need to do long story, and Selwink i have not changed his ITT it was already like that, shall i lower it a bit?
First race will be Ompllop im racing ATOC now, but im rushing through Feb races. Wow PCM 11 is quicker than PCM 13 lol, to adavance 1 day in PCM 13 i can do 10 days in 11. |

Well, I think it's up to you to change it, after all, it's your story. If it were me, I'd lower it to about 65

Ullrich looks a beast in the TT stats
If he dominates every time trial then lower his stats to suit |

What about Basso's Mountain, i only gave him 83 becuase Giro 2006 was great lmao and really he should have 85 for that display, is his mountain ok then? And Selwink i will give Rasmussen 65, Ullrich is not as good at climbing so i think its a good stat for him but i could drop him i suppose. |

Some guys like Flecha just seem to have rotten luck. No doubt if he had some luck instead of finishing classic after classic 2nd or 3rd he would win!
Great to see a story with a different database.
I still remember/ enjoy that Astana story you were doing, my Qatar Optics started at around the same time! |

It's all about the way the race is controlled. If the pace is relatively low, the Omloop could very well end in a sprint of +-20 riders. KBK is more likely to end in a sprint

With no Fabian Cancellara and Alessandro Ballan their is 1 outstanding favourite and that is Tom Boonen. Lief Hoste is also very strong so they are the two main favourites.
Favourites
Tom Boonen
Lief Hoste
Steffan Wesemann
Peter Van Petegam
Thor Hushovd
Filippo Pozzato
Outsiders
Bjorn Leukemans
Magnus Backstedt
Luca Paaolini
Léon van Bon
Oscar Freire
The 13 man break hit the first sector of pave, the Peloton not far behind.
95 kms to go and the BOTD has been formed best rider on cobbles in the break is J.Engoulvent
P.V.Petegem is working for Bonnen on the front still almost 4 minutes to the break with 44 kms to go, Van Bon is protecting Freire now as the rest have blew up completely.
Down to 4 riders but the break is looking strong, 3'10" to the peloton, only 21 kms to go.
M.Den Bakker wins Oploop Het Volk 2007
Freire a dissapointing 11th, he worked on the front for the last 15 kms trying to bring it back but the break was too strong.
Top 10:
I think we underestimated the break today we let Quickstep do the work thinking it would come back we should have had guys on the front early on keeping it in check, but we learned alot today in this race. In hindsight Freire probably had a good result he beat Hoste and lost to better cobbles riders.
Next race - Paris Nice |
