Tour of Hellas - Stage 7
roturn
img802.imageshack.us/img802/2471/mgeo.jpg

Last stage in Greece and race leader Dekker has best chances to bring the win home. But as we have lots of same times in the GC like the 5.-15. it could become very interesting as positioning could be important.

By looking on the profile we see a late bump, which could be a danger if you are not concentrated there as the pace is excepted to be very high then.

img198.imageshack.us/img198/5714/h618.jpg

5 riders in the breakaway and despite the KoM`s today we won`t see a lead change here as none of those is able to beat Novikov in this ranking.

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/rep_zps8fe99b28.png Agudelo is one of the team`s climber but both are far behind GC wise. And while Vasquez already collected a stage win, Agudelo is trying the same and attacks after the first KoM trying to join the breakaway.

img850.imageshack.us/img850/1777/cjt5.jpg

After the 2nd KoM, which was won by Olivier, Agudelo joins the group, that is 4min ahead now.

img89.imageshack.us/img89/3426/3vfd.jpg

Meiji for Modolo and Hollister for Davis might be the best sprinters here and so their teams are present in the peloton trying to keep the gap in a reachable size.

img51.imageshack.us/img51/1732/92qz.jpg

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys/PCT/sbp_zpsa477b496.png Nielsen with a crash. The young Dane probably with one of his biggest success in this race.

img202.imageshack.us/img202/2208/rse9.jpg

And even though he is 85. in the GC only, he obviously climbed the team ladder a bit as he got support in Stancu, who waited for him and brought him back.

img36.imageshack.us/img36/3653/89gv.jpg

ING also joins the chasing teams as the gap is up to 7min with ~110km to go.
Will they ride for Di Nucci or do they plan some bigger surprise with a GC attack.

img198.imageshack.us/img198/2231/6z7x.jpg

Moving forward to the 18km mark and a gap of 1min.
We are immediately ahead of this bump and have the most exciting part of todays stage now.

img194.imageshack.us/img194/1391/uuo1.jpg

Ji, Ochoa Quintero and Shimizu go over the hill first and this shows that the pace is probably very high.

img163.imageshack.us/img163/5021/btxt.jpg

Hollister with a train for Davis and as 125 riders are still in the group we can expect a sprint.
Kiserlovski and Marentes ahead of Davis and then it`s surprisingly already Dekker.
Also Bazajev and Modolo in a very good position while lots of sprinters are in a bad position due to this hill.
So it`s just those 3 real sprinters.

img5.imageshack.us/img5/2749/l02r.jpg

Marentes with a huge leadout for Davis. Dekker still following him and also Kolesnikov behind him now. The Russian showed some nice finishes here and could also be an option for today.
Meanwhile Bazajev and Modolo have a small gap.

img35.imageshack.us/img35/9475/uk2a.jpg

But they found their way back to the train with 1,5km to go. Who goes first?

img822.imageshack.us/img822/184/l7wp.jpg

1km and Davis starts the sprint.
Behind also Bazajev with Modolo behind goes into the wind, while Dekker is still waiting with Kolesnikov behind him.

img202.imageshack.us/img202/1388/ly0t.jpg

Davis with a nice gap. But as you can see, the final is far harder than expected. So it`s a good finish for Grega Bole, who comes on the left.

img5.imageshack.us/img5/3355/eaqt.jpg

Bole, Dekker and Kolesnikov follow Davis while all others are beaten obviously.

img854.imageshack.us/img854/7623/29ib.jpg

But nobody was able to beat Davis today as the Aussie takes the last stage.
Bole as 2nd with a good result ahead of Dekker, Taaramae and Kolesnikov.

GC wise we haven`t the biggest changes. Only change in that same time group is that Anton and Kiserlovski change positions to the favour of the 2nd rider.
