Changing race dates

How to move (stage) race to another date properly? I mean what else needs to be changed after stage dates and fitness plans to have everything work correctly. I have problems moving Vuelta to a week later date. Only handful of teams were automatically going to participate. Is it something about racing programs or too many races overlapping?

Search for TankNL's threads on adjusting the calendar. I think there is something specific to the Vuelta that you can't move it back after a certain date.
