A pretty simple query I imagine...

Suppose it's the 2013 season, and a rider's contract expires in 2014, if you renew the contract now, does it take effect from the 2014 or 2015 season?

Renewed contacts take effect at the end of the current season. So if it's 2013 the new contract begins in 1st January 2014
