while pcm is a very enjoyable game when it works it simply has too many bugs and crashes to often. i've wasted too much of my time sitting through 3/4 of a stage for it to crash so i officially give up. think i'm gonna stick to football manager that has never crashed on me once in my many many years playing it.

Same here..I had only once possible to finish career with 06 (downloaded db.) Inever had installed one game so many times has 06.
07 no crashes at all..I have raped that db several times..this baby still running. |

since patch 1.0.3.1 everything works fine for me with the original DB or PCM Spain, with other db's it often crashes thats true..
before that patch I couldnt even start the game there was always this white screen.. |

I've also been wondering about that - it's weird that it's not disabled when you set the sound effects volume to zero  And your solution must have been quite time requiring? |

not really. just used Windows' "Sound Recorder" to record a second or two of silence then copied the file (renamed) over each of the ten or so sound files that were there.

my game has a runtime error in it so i have given up on mine now it was working fine but now i cant even start a carrer and i have unistalled it still not working. |

You need to
1. uninstall PCM07
2. delete any folders that may not have been deleted in the uninstall, you will definately need to delete the folder within Application Data, type %appdata% into Run.. to find it.
3. Install PCM07
4. Install the latest patch.
5. Install any packs/db's
