First signing for the team
I'm very pleased to mention you that we have done already a first transfer. We can announce you that we have transfered the Dutchmen Nicky van Drenthe. Nicky will be leading the team on cobbled races, in other races he will be a good domnestique.

Me having a bit of fun through Arenberg last autumn
Hi everyone, Nicky van Drenthe here! I'm very happy to sign my first professional contract at Caja Rural this season and will be aiming to do my best as team leader of the cobble races.
Obviously it is very hard to turn down a leaders role at my age and for such a good outfit like Caja Rural, I believe I will bring something different to the squad. I will also be working as a domestique for most the season and I aim to hard my hardest for the team leader! I think this is the right choice in my career for my development and I can't wait to get on the road with the boys!

Caja Rural sign Furan
Hi, Pietor Furan here, I guess now is the time to introduce myself. I am Pietor Furan, a Ukrainian sprinter. I can handle the hills too, but don't expect me to win in the Ardennes any time soon... I am glad that I've signed for this team as it is a top quality squad, but I will still get a few chances to lead in the sprints. Maybe one day I will win a points jersey in a grand tour, but for now just riding one will be a great achievement.
That is where Caja Rural come in. I love the team and they have the opportunity to let me ride in some amazing races, maybe even La Vuelta... If you want to know more about me then read the series of books that features someone with the same name, but I'd rather not talk about it now... All that matters now is the future, and I hope it is bright. |

everything flat and without cobbles!
Not really familiar with all these races, im a bit of a novice, especially with early season, and I don't have pcm so I can't check, Almeria and de panne look good to me. |

Pietor Furan's management would like to express his concern about riding in Catalunya for Caj Rural when there are no flat stages. Pietor doesn't understand what good he'd be as a sprinter with nowhere to sprint! |
