Have you tried editing DYN_Team and just giving more than 20 teams ProTour status?

You'd also have to alter the sponsor goals etc to make it realistic B)

me thinks that would end in a HUGE crash but you can try
It wouldn't be good when racing PT races

Just edit one team to be in a lower league, and yours to be in a higher one, means changing the value of 10 to 11, and 11 to 10. Not that hard.

What would that help? He wants more PT teams, not different ones.

I just changed the team division ID of team Tinkoff in a Bouyges game ive got going (i dont mind if it gets screwed up ) and lo and behold team Tinkoff is indeed in the Pro Tour without any problem at all. I presume that the same applies for the end of the season as i havent changed anything else, and therefore Tinkoff will probably get demoted but there ya go, you can edit the amount of teams in the pro tour.
Open your database with hannes converter 2.0
Open the file DYN_team
Change the fkIDdivision value to 10 for protour, and 11 for continental.
save.
save.
quit.
jobs a good un. B)

No offense but that is a really bad and slap-dash way of doing it
there is no point in just doing that as Tinkoff won't be riding any PT races from the date you changed them to PT. You will need to change their whole calendar for the job to be even worthwhile

In all fairness: We knew you could edit in a 21th PT team, a lot of things are editable. The question is if it would work.

hmm, ok lol. how hard could that be? (a lot of hard work, i know, i know.)
all i was saying is that it did work, and you can put in an extra team.
if you already knew that why didnt you say so before?

Basically, its presumed that around 72% of all realistic changes you can come with in the PCM DB is possible.

because i took it to mean whether he could add another PT team, with a full PT calendar and objectives.
I don't know if it will crash when it comes to PT stages due to an extra compulsory slot in the race and still 2 wildcards being dished out. There would then be 23 teams in the race and i'm not sure the game can handle that
