Marc Allan reporting. I have taken over at United Healthcare and see to it that we will become the top Pro-Continental team this year. We are sprint heavy, but with guys like Deignan, Euser, and Reijnen, we expect to get some non-sprint wins.
Our focus, however, is the plethora of pure sprinters we have on this team. Jake Keough, Robert Forster, and Hilton Clarke will get the most chances, but with everything so interchangeable with our lead-outs, guys like Karl Menzies, Alessandro Bazzana, Luke Keough and many others could get chances as well.

Boulder, Colorado - Marc Allan has announced he is looking to sign between three to six riders for the coming season. "The team is dedicated to the sprint finish. We have the firepower in the Blue Train to obtain results. We are however looking to sign a few more climbers, maybe even another top flight sprinter to give us anonther threat, alongside Jake Keough."
Speculation is that the Allan twins of Matthew and Brant are interested in joining the team together. Marc said on the matter "My boys do want to join the team, but I've told both to listen to other offers as well, as I feel that both can immediately go World Tour. I'd love for them to come on board, but They also have dreams of their own." |

Maybe you'd be interested in Young Irish Sprinter Tom O'Callaghan? He can handle hills well (69) and his sprint (73) and acceleration (74) make him an ideal leadout man. Tom himself has only heard good things about the Team when talking to Phil Deignan. Any Comment?

Boulder, Colorado - Jordan Birtles and United HealthCare have come to terms on a contract that would allow Birtles to come onto the Blue Train for the upcoming season
Marc Allan said "We welcome a rider like Birtles to the team. He is a great time trial rider who brings in a multitude of skills that fit well with the team. I'm happy we can get a rider of his quality. He'll definitely be our guy in the time trials." |

Hey guys, I just thought I would introduce myself to you all. I'm Jordan Birtles and I am a new signing here at UnitedHealthcare. I'm the only British rider on the team at the moment but that's absolutely fine as almost every rider here speaks perfect english anyway. It's a great opportunity for me to ride for a team that will hopefully give me the chance to ride in a few TT's.
Yes, my area of expertise is definitely against the clock and I shall be looking to get the team some stage wins, even against some of the best guys from the WT. I may not be quite as good as Martin or Wiggins yet but I should certainly be able to challenge for victory in all of the Continental Tour time trials.
Beyond that, I can climb pretty well and enjoy riding on the front, putting everyone in the hurt locker, so hope to do some good work for the likes of Phil Deignan. Also, I would like to ride for a strong result in the Tour of Britain, where the presence of a long ITT could help me get a top 5 or better. Maybe National TT champion? Who knows, just got some bloke called Wiggins to beat! |

Rider Update
Another signing has occurred when United Healthcare GM Marc Allan and Italian Drago di Silvestro have agreed to a contract.
"Drago is a time-trialist. We have been looking all over the place to strengthen our lead-out train completely. Drago is a tough flat rider that can truly pull off hundreds of miles while dragging the peloton along, just like Birtles." |

More News
Talks with Matheiu Favre have collapsed. Marc Allan stated "Matheiu didn't feel like he'd have an opportunity with our team do to our focus on the CT schedule more than the World Tour. I hope the best for him in the seasons to come."
Allan also hinted that another Brit could be joining the team. "We are in talks with a good youngster from Britain. I've been impressed with the talent they are producing over there with Chris Hoy, Cav, and Wiggo leading it. He could fit in really well on our team because he does fit a specific need that we are missing."
"We'd also like to sign a few more riders. We have a few in mind, but we're still doing our research on what riders we want to have. I feel that we could use a co-leader to increase our chances at stage races, but we could use a good sprinter as well to increase our ability in the sprints. Our season is stage race heavy as well, but another goal is a great showing on the World Championship stage in the team time-trial, with us acquiring a multitude of good time-trialists."
