Welcome to the MTN-Qhubeka headquarters. Currently, we are the most famous cycling team of Africa. At the moment, we are not at the highest level yet, but the target is to reach it within a few years. We mainly have African riders under contract, but at the moment, we also have some European riders as well.

MTN is looking for young riders. At the moment, we think our team is a little bit too small, so some neo-pros would definitely help. We think we have a program to offer that is racing some races where young riders can definitely get chances of their own, meaning MTN would be the perfect step up in their career!

Transfer news
We are very pleased to announce we can welcome a new rider into our new squad. 18-year-old sprinter Mario Guido will join us. He will present himself later on. We at MTN are convinced he is a huge talent, and we are confident he will shine right from the start

Buongiorno! It's a me, Mario! I'm joining this team for the next season! I am from Italia, where the girls are pretty! I am a sprinter and I won a lot of races in Italia before I came here! For me, sprinting is like war! This is why I always carry a stiletto in the sprint, to intimidate my opponents! Many times I have crashed in a sprint, but I get up again!
I would like to thank the team and manager for this oppurtunity. I hope to help them in promotion to the World Tour and maybe win a few races. I hope I can learn a lot from Gerald Ciolek, he is a similar type of rider than me. I hope to surpass him one year! And I already made a friend, Kristian Sbaragli. Life is beautiful!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Hello, world! I'm Josef Hintermüller, the next German at MTN!
I hope to learn a lot from guys like Pardilla and van Niekerk this season and maybe even get some results of my own! I have learnt to ride mountains in the bavarian alps, where i hope i can get some results this season too, in the Bayern Rundfahrt. I want to thank the Manager for giving me the opportunity to ride in his Team, and for believing in me. I hope i won't dissapoint you!

Wildcard news
Yes! We have got a wild card for Milano - San Remo. We will be the first ever African team to ride La Primavera, and with that a monument. We hope we can achieve our goal of reaching top 5 there, but participating already feels like an honor. We aren't sure about the Vuelta and Tirreno-Adriatico yet.

MTN-Qhubeka still looking for riders
Even though MTN already signed two riders, we are still looking for some more. What we would really like to see is some more Africans joining our squad. We don't care about age, just make sure to apply correctly.

Manager of MTN

Hello Mr. Boer, it's a me, Mario. I was hoping that we could discuss my schedule for the first part of the season. I think I like the sprints in Gabon, Langkawi and Almeria. Of course I would love ride the races in bella Italia as well: Strade Bianche, Tirreno-Adriatico and Milan-San Remo.
And in the team roster, you give a me the german flag. Why you give a me the german flag?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Langkawi, AlmerÃa, Strade Bianche and San Remo are guaranteed. If we race the Tirreno, you will get your chance there as well. Unfortunately, I can't assure you of a place for Gabon yet. If you go there though, you will be a domestique or lead-out though.

Jan de Boer announced on a press conference earlier today MTN has signed another rider. We are very pleased to announce the arrival of Dave Kennedy. The young American was discovered by our scout after Trek announced they wanted to see American riders as well. Dave will be joined by another American, who will be announced later on. Dave will present himself in a while here.

Hello world, My name is Johnny Schmidt from the United States. I am very proud to introduce myself today as the newest member of the MTN squad. My biggest strength is the battle against the clock. For this year my goal is to get another contract for the next season which means I have to get better than I am now. I will work harder than anybody else to show that I am worth the trust of DS Jan de Boer.
I will not disappoint you!
Johnny Schmidt
