Follow this link to see the new team[/url]
We, as the best team of Germany are desperately searching for a promotion to the UCI World Tour. Our major sponsors NetApp and Endura won't set too high goals for the first year, as we'll be trying to contract a few good (German) riders and hope for a few wildcards for some big races.
With riders as Barta, Huzarski, König and Kluge we're desperate for some stage wins and maybe even GC's.

Team NetApp - Endura has come to the conclusion they need some people for (cobbled) classics, so they want some (if possible) young riders that are able to ride a decent classic. It doesn't matter from where the rider is coming, but European riders is definitely where NetApp focuses on. Team NetApp has also said they've already seen a Czech rider they might be interested in.

Team NetApp - Endura Rumors
It seems Team NetApp might be interested in Dermot Walker, who said he was interested in NetApp too, this might bring them to a deal. More news will definitely be coming when it's getting closer or farther to the big step to the Elite cycling world.
Michael Boogerd also made clear he is willing to pay a fair amount of money for a young cobble rider. "We definitely have a good team for GC's and climb stages. For sprint stages we have some good sprinters too, but if your looking at our roster, you might've seen we do not have a decent cobbler. If we could get our hands on a young cobbler that would be really great towards our step to the World Tour" is what Michael Boogerd released to Eurosport. |

Michael Boogerd confirms Team NetApp has started the negotiations with Dermot Walker. He also said: "Maxime Oget has rejected our offer because he didn't want to ride CT level, we think it's a strange decision, because he is still so young, but however, it's his own decision."
This was our transfer news around Team NetApp - Endura, more updates will come soon! |

It's almost sure a young all-round Swedish rider of 18 years old is going to join Team NetApp. Michael Boogerd is happy to be able to have a young rider that won't get mad because he will get a domestique role in the most races. If the rider accepts the offer it seems that NetApp is almost ensured of 2 young riders to join the team. They're still looking around for some new riders. Michael Boogerd: "We're still looking for a young cobbler to be able to ride good results at cobbled races, but we're also looking for a young domestique for climbs." |

I think you misunderstood, as your applications are still on hold, meaning they're not sure yet

My name is Heimdal Hägg and I'm an 18-year old cyclist from southern Sweden. I like pretty much all kinds of terrain and love aggressive riding.
As long as I get to be in front that is. I don't really care whether I'm pulling the peloton or away in the break - both things have a certain beauty to them. I don't like sitting quietly at the back though!
I will be leaving my family home to pursue my dream of being a pro cyclist. That's part of the reason I chose Team NetApp - Endura. They already have one Swede on the team, that will help me find my feet and make things feel a bit more homely.
The team management have promised me that I'll occasionally get to chase my luck in some of the smaller races, but really I'm taking things as they come. After all I'm only 18 and have yet to find out what kind of a cyclist I should become.
Now I just hope they'll find a strong cobbles-rider that will help us enter some of those races. I really think I could do some decent work in the first 2/3rds of those races - I just need someone to do the work for...
2013 went pretty well with points in many races and even a stage win in my last regular race of the season, Tour of Hainan. A perfect build-up to my second season both in the peloton and with NetApp.
I'm really happy to have been able to stay with the team as they were good for me last year and I think it's the best team of all to be on as a youngster.

Michael Boogerd is happy to say 2 young riders has signed a contract for Team NetApp. A young British sprinter named Dermot Walker, and all-round Swedish rider Heimdal Hägg. Michael Boogerd: "They're still very young, so we won't put too much pressure on them. We are going to train them to get exceptionally great riders, so when they leave, they at least have the feeling this team has helped them really much with becoming big."
Team NetApp is still in search for a young cobble rider for cobbled classics and someone who could fulfil the position of a domestique in climb races. |

Wow.. Who would have thought it, hey? Little old Dermot becoming a pro cyclist. Well, anyway I'm Dermot Walker and I have just signed for Team NetApp - Endura in the Pro Continental Tour. I am the fifth Brit in the squad and can't wait to start riding with Russ Downing, who is a bit of legend on the British Crit scene, so I should be able to learn a lot from him.
I'm an 18 year old and I specialise in short, inner-city races but this season I must learn how to deal with longer races and also how to look after my legs for the final sprint (I'm used to attacking a lot during short races, so I have to calm down a bit!).
This season, I hope to be able to help guys like Downing and the other sprinters but also to develop my skills as much as possible. I'm never going to be able to climb, I just don't have the build for it, but I reckon I can become a much quicker sprinter, like my idol Mark Cavendish. As for personal targets, I want to give a good showing at the Tour of Britain of course but there is a lot of racing before then and I hope to contribute to some team success.
Let's go Team NetApp!!

Ioannis Dimitriou has signed a contract and joined Team NetApp. He'll be in a domestique role in the mountains most of the time. The rest of the time he would get a free role. |

Allow me to present myself:
My name is Ioannis Dimitriou, I grew up near Thessaloniki and I had to cover a mountain to school every day. I grew in racing more and more, and now I get to sign for a professsional team already. I am very glad mr. Boogerd and the rest have offerered me a spot and I'm gonna show I will be worth cycling.
Best regards,
Ioannis Dimitriou

Hey Mr. Manager,
Dermot here!
I can't wait to get the season started and look forward to hearing about my calendar. Of course, as an 18-year-old, I will do what you tell me to! But just to give you some ideas, of the races we are registered for, I would prefer San Luis, Langkawi and Limburg but Oman or TDU would be fine also. Any race with lots of flat stages really!
