For a long time we were known as Rabobank, and after a short while as Team Blanco, we are now Belkin.
For years, we have been the pride of Dutch cycling. We have dominated cyclocross and women's racing, and had successes on the road as well. Together with our development team, we aim to give young cyclists a chance in cycling.
For the next season, our new Belgian manager, Jos Vermaelen, will try to improve our team even further. On the cobbles, our leaders Vanmarcke and Boom will try to get a big win. Renshaw and Bos will be contesting the sprints. Our main strength will be our climber squad. Gesink, Kelderman, Kruijswijk, Mollema, Sanchez and Ten Dam should be able to get some nice results together.
Furthermore, Belkin signed some young promising riders. Willem Brouwer is a dutch spinter who can take hills decently. Jorge Cristobal Riquelme is a Chilean puncheur. Both will get the chance to develop in our team this year, and hopefully they'll stay with us for quite some time.
The first big victory was Paris-Roubaix. Sep Vanmarcke got Belkin this very prestigeous win.
One month later, Willem Brouwer won the 3rd stage in the Giro d'Italia, taking the Maglia Rosa as well.
Robert Gesink won a Giro stage as well, but his real triumph came a month later, as he won the Dutch National Championship Road Race!
Though not in the Belkin jersey and not earning us any points, Jorge Cristobal Riquelme finished his season with a great win in the U23 World Championships Road Race!
Our second season started really good as well. New signing Marcel Kittel won our second monument, Milan - San Remo!

Belkin is hoping to sign a few youngster. In particular Adrien Hanzen is high on our priority list.

Unfortunately Hanzen did not sign for us, we are still looking for a good sprinter and/or puncheur.

We have a top priority for the new seaon, his name is Willem Brouwer and he's a Dutch 23 year old cyclist. He's one of the few sprinters that has enough power to handle a hill. Needless to say, we'll do everything we can to sign him, although we can imagine many other teams will be interested as well.
We're also in talks with Maxime Oget, but he has many other offers and might be hard to convince.

Ladies and gentlemen, we got him!
The 23 year old Willem Brouwer has signed for the team. He will be leading our sprint squad for the upcoming season. We're hoping he will be the billboard of dutch cycling for the next decade, so in the end all parties agreed his place was with Belkin.
To celebrate, we'll be giving away Broodjes Kroket with Pindasauce for free tonight at the Belkin HQ!
For our last team addition, we are probably going to go for a strong puncheur, although if any other interesting offer comes up, we'll want to hear it.

Hello there, it's Willem Brouwers here
I just want to say that it's great to be part of this team.
Belkin has always been my favourite team, to be honest.
I signed a contract to be the lead sprinter of Belkin. I'll aim to do good in the flat sprints, but I'm also the type of sprinter that can take some hills.
A long distance goal for me is grabbing the Tour de France green jersey. For now, I just hope I can grab a few WT (stage)wins for the team.
As a Dutchman, integrating to the team doesn't look hard, I've already got to know some people.
I can feel in every way that I will have a great time at this team.

It isn't official yet, but Belkin is very close to signing Jorge Cristobal Riquelme. The Chilean puncheur would be a great addition for the team. We hope to finalise the deal on monday!
