Hi everyone!
I have created this thread just to ask the story-writers on the forum, what do you do when writing a story?
Me? I split my writing into 3 categories:
The Race
During the race I take screenshots of important events, as is the norm. I try to use different angles so the readers don't get bored with the same old thing. I also take notes on what happens during the race, which I then use when writing the story.
Post-Race
Once I have about 100 (I like to stock up on content before writing it), I convert all the screenshots into .JPG using a bulk converter. So I don't get confused, all of the screenshots that I have already used in my story get put into a separate folder just in case I need them.
Writing
Put the notes into writing and fit the screens in at the right time and booyah! A Cycleman123 story post!
Now tell me, and the rest of daily, how you write your stories!

When I do reports I write as the stage runs, then I know exactly what happened and it gives me something to do during the stage |

The reason I stopped my story was because each stage required half a page of notes for me.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

That's a cool way to do it! Isn't PCM full-screen though?

That's how it started off for me too, but after a while it gets easier and you adapt to writing less notes. Some stages do require lots of notes though, so if I were you I would keep persevering.

Sorry, wasn't aware. Still, I think it's good to have this so people who may not have been involved in the prior discussion can talk about it .

You can change it in the options and take out full screen

The loading time is much, much longer for .png files - especially if you have a couple of reports on a page.

So it works, but everyone would get annoyed at me because it took them 5 years to read it all... |
