Kozontchuk is the closest GC wise (38th @ 8â€™19â€). There isnâ€™t a fast chase, however Swedbank are keeping the pace relatively high on the front.

Vichot rolls through in first uncontested. It seems that they are more focused on getting away from the jaws of the bunch.

The break is eventually let free, as the pace slows back in the pack. Hitting the final climb the pace is upped by the controlling Swedish squad but the gap still stands at 3â€™20â€, and that will be a hard gap to close in the next 15 kilometers.

Back at the very front all five attackers are still there as the group go under 10 kilometers to go. Their gap has been cut significantly but there is still some hope as the climb flattens out for a few of these last ten kilometers which could cut the time gains from behind.

Ratiy can see the front group though, and has a 1â€™20â€ advantage over the bunch which is starting to shed riders. The Ukranian could be looking at a stage win if he can surpass the leading group.
