Well, seeing as we all play PCM, i was just wondering who (UK based) actually gets out on their bike(s) and actually races. On the road of course. If so, at what level? Whats your aims for 08? And whereabouts do you race?
I race of course, am only a meagre cat 3 this year again after missing my cat 2 by some 14 points last year. Aims for this year is to get the 2nd category most importantly, and maybe, just maybe get another 2nd place or even win a race! Im racing down in the South-West this year, and probably centrally for some races. May even pop into wales for a few as well.
Anyone else?

I ride a bit, and I am a member of a club, but I'm ashamed to say I've never done a proper race, just sportive rides as an individual (last year I did etape Caledonia). My main focus, however, is the club time trial where I hope to beat 27 minutes this year on the rolling course. Will it happen? First, I have to shift the christmas pounds!
I should really start racing, but I find it hard to commit to weekends, there always seems to be so much else to do: studying, seeing the gf, football, nights out etc.

Smoothie shouldn't be allowed around a bike given his record for hitting the ground.

you'd be quite happy to be a guy who can't get a contract with a decent team so has to ride for a very small unknown norwegian team for very little pay and never riding decent races, doomed to never achieve anything and always be in the shadow of your successful father?
